Timothée Chalamet distanced himself from the glitz and glamour of the 2025 Met Gala on Monday night – while girlfriend Kylie Jenner walked the red carpet alone.

The 29-year-old A Complete Unknown actor overshadowed his 27-year-old girlfriend as he shared an Instagram snap from his boys night at the same time the mother-of-two was putting on a busty display in a custom Ferragamo gown.

The one-of-a-kind, two-toned number was designed with a halter neckline and a sheer, black, corseted bodice.

It also boasted matching sheer opera gloves and a thigh-high slit that bared one of  Jenner’s long legs.

Kylie’s lustrous jet black hair was parted on the side and styled in a sophisticated updo.

She looked gorgeous as ever as she arrived to fashion’s biggest night in a face full of her Kylie Cosmetics brand, which she teased on social media earlier in the day.

On Monday morning the billionaire mogul took to Instagram Stories to share a snapshot featuring her makeup products spread out on a windowsill.

Her finished look included a palette of mocha-colored eyeshadow, dramatic lashes, and a generous dusting of a rosy blush.

Chalamet’s night was spent watching the NBA playoffs, specifically ‘French NBA analysis,’ according to his Instagram Stories.

He also appeared in a selfie with three friends, wearing a black hat and a gray hoodie over his head.

Another picture showed his feet kicked up while he watched the Celtics play via a small tablet.

The Wonka actor wrote in one impassioned post that he was ‘sh***ing myself’ because ‘this game is insane.’

Insiders recently revealed that Timothée and Kylie have agreed to a set of stipulations regarding their romance.

While the twosome have been seen attending public events together on various occasions, they do not post each other online.

And the Call Me By Your Name star will not appear on Jenner’s family television series The Kardashians.

This year’s Met Gala theme is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, and the dress code Tailored for You.

The concept comes from the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition highlighting Black dandyism.

Co-chairs, who are hosting the swanky affair, include actor Colman Domingo, Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, rapper A$AP Rocky and musician and Louis Vuitton men’s creative director Pharrell Williams. LeBron James will also join, acting as honorary chair.

Around 600 people will attend, with athletes Simone Biles and Sha’Carri Richardson among them.
