Cassie Ventura revealed what has changed in her life after confronting her ex, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, in court during his federal sex trafficking trial.

After her courtroom testimony, the singer, 38, is now putting all of her attention back on her family and is preparing to welcome her baby with her husband Alex Fine.

Now that ‘the last chapter of her ordeal’ is over, her lawyer Doug Wigdor told TMZ on Saturday, Ventura is now ‘focused on her husband and kids this weekend and getting ready to give birth in a few weeks’.

Ventura and Fine have been married since 2019. The personal trainer was in New York City with her all week supporting her as she was cross-examined on the witness stand and gave her testimony in the ongoing Diddy trial.

Despite online speculation about how he would feel after hearing the graphic details about their sex life, he stood strong in his support for his wife.

In a loving statement shared by Wigdor on Friday, Fine said he felt ‘tremendous pride and overwhelming love’ for his wife.

He also emphasized that ‘Cassie saved Cassie’ and gushed over his wife before calling the disgraced music mogul a ‘demon’.

As for Ventura, she said in her own statement that speaking up and giving her testimony was empowering and healing experience for her.

During her testimony this week, Ventura said that she suffered years of traumatic abuse at the hands of Combs during their decade-long, on-and-off relationship from 2007 to 2018.

Even after they called it quits and she started dating Fine, she revealed how she had allegedly cheated on him with Combs. She also described one particularly chilling instance in the fall of 2018, where her ex allegedly raped her and she claimed Fine punched a hole in the wall when she told him what happened.

Ventura testified that she had consensual sex with Combs on one other occasion after the assault.

Meanwhile, Diddy’s legal team introduced salacious text messages from Ventura that claimed the singer ‘loved’ Combs’s infamous ‘freak-offs.’

Combs’s lawyer Anna Estevao used the messages in court on Thursday in an effort to paint Ventura as a willing participant in the drug-fueled sex sessions that could last up to four days.

However, Ventura delivered a testimony throughout the week about how she was coerced into a life of manipulation and abuse. She was also asked why she chose to take the stand against the music mogul.

She said: ‘I can’t carry this any more. I can’t carry the shame, the guilt, the way we… I was guided to treat people like they were disposable.’

In November 2023, she filed a civil lawsuit against Combs, accusing him of rape and repeated physical abuse.

The day after she filed, she reached a $20million settlement with Combs, though he denied the allegations.

Combs is currently on trial facing five criminal counts — including one count of racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

Combs has pleaded not guilty in the trial that is expected to continue for another five to seven weeks.

If he is found guilty, he could be sentenced to decades behind bars.

Prosecutors allege that he used his fame and fortune to orchestrate an empire of exploitation, coercing women into abusive sex parties.

His lawyers argue that all the sexual acts were consensual, and although he could be violent, he never veered into sex trafficking and racketeering.
