Leonardo DiCaprio and his model girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti were spotted arriving in Mexico on a private jet amid the devastating LA fires.

While more than 100,000 people have been evacuated and several of his A-list peers, including Tom Hanks, Anthony Hopkins, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, have seen their homes destroyed, DiCaprio was seen landing in Cabo San Lucas on Friday.

Given Leo’s reputation as an environmental advocate, it raised eyebrows that he would take a private jet during such a major natural disaster affecting his own community.

As the founder of the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, the Oscar winner, 50, has funded over $80 million in grants focused on climate change and sustainability.

Dressed in a casual hoodie and baseball cap, Leo appeared unfazed as he stepped off the plane alongside Ceretti, 26, who wore an all-black ensemble.

The couple, who have been linked since 2023, were accompanied by Leo’s father George DiCaprio and George’s wife Peggy Ann Farrar.

Also spotted arriving at the Cabo airport on Friday was Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm creator Larry David.

As the fires continue to rage, many other Hollywood heavyweights are left grappling with the heartbreaking loss of their homes.

However, some have been luckier—Tom Hanks, Kate Hudson, Mark Hamill, and others saw their properties escape the flames.

Leo’s getaway comes after he treated his 81-year-old dad George —who once famously founded a waterbed business—to a visit at the exclusive Bird Street Club in West Hollywood in December.

Though the lunch date was brief, it’s clear Leo and George share a strong bond.

Despite separating from Leo’s mother, Irmelin Indenbirken, shortly after his birth, George played an active role in his son’s upbringing.

Once a struggling installer of asbestos and fireproof roofing, George pivoted to entrepreneurship with the launch of a waterbed business, aptly named Foggy Bottom.

Married to Peggy Ann Farrar since 1995, George originally met Irmelin in 1963 when she was studying to be a legal secretary in New York.

The couple married and moved to Los Angeles, but by 1974, when Irmelin was pregnant, their relationship was unraveling.

They took one last trip to Florence, where a kick from baby Leo while admiring a Da Vinci painting at the Uffizi Gallery inspired Irmelin to name her son after the Renaissance master.

Back in Hollywood, George and Irmelin separated but co-parented closely, renting adjacent bungalows with a shared garden to raise Leo.

Meanwhile, Leo and Vittoria stirred speculation earlier this year when Vittoria sported a heart-shaped diamond ring during a romantic Italian getaway.

However, reports later revealed she’s owned the ring since 2022, well before her romance with the Hollywood star began.

Still, the couple’s relationship keeps fans talking—just like Leo, who continues to be as fascinating off-screen as he is on it.
