The star is ready for her new venture as she prepares to leave Today

HODA Kotb has shared a brand new career move into the ‘wellness space’ during a talk with Kelly Clarkson.

The beloved Today star will be hosting her final show on Friday, January 10 after working as co-anchor for 7 years alongside Savannah Guthrie.

However, just because she’s leaving the series doesn’t mean Hoda, 60, will be slow down anytime soon – with her revealing on The Kelly Clarkson Show she already has plans for the rest of the year.

Sitting down for the talk, Kelly told Hoda: “As soon as they told as soon as they told me, you are not doing the today shows like, so what’s that b***h doing? I was like, because there’s no way you’re not doing anything. No way you’re me. You like projects, you like working!”

Hoda laughed at the comment and agreed, before revealing: “So I kind of got hooked in the wellness space, like a couple years ago.

“I started doing stuff that I thought seemed woo-woo and weird, and then all of a sudden, as I was doing it, I was like, ‘wait, I feel calmer, I feel better’. Woo-woo makes you feel good!”

“So I am starting a wellness app and company that will involve retreats and a podcast and all kinds of things that we can get together do things that I love,” she added.

“And when you’re done, it’s not like going to Mexico with your girls, which is fun, but this is something that when you leave, you’ll go like, ‘Oh my gosh. I feel transformed, I feel different.’ So I’m in the building process of that.”

“I think that’s so healthy to be the voice for that, and like community, build a community for that, because a lot of us need to be better at that,” said Kelly.

“Because we’re, I’m a go, go, go, go. A lot of us are, we exhaust ourselves and we’re not good at knowing how to be still or slow down.”

“So this thing, I think, is going to launch in the spring, so we’re in the building process, but I can’t wait, and I’ll come and tell you about it as soon as it’s ready,” added Hoda.

“Don’t tell me about it,” said Kelly. “Invite me!”

Fans were delighted to hear about Hoda’s new project, taking to social media to share their support – although they’re sad to see her leave the Today show.

One wrote: “I wish Hoda the best but she will be missed a lot ❤️”

“I’m all in for this! I love @hodakotb so much and feel so inspired by her! And this year I have already claimed as my “year of radical self care” so I need all that “woo woo and weird” stuff! 😂❤️ Congrats Hoda!!!,” said a second.

“Yessss!! @hodakotb I can’t wait! I have never been on a wellness retreat and yours I want it to be my first trip for myself. ❤️” noted a third.

Hoda’s replacement is yet to be confirmed, but the star will go out in style this week with a special celebration episode complete with surprises for her time on the show.
