Phil and Kay Robertson’s origin story as a couple came to the big screen in 2023 with the independent hit movie “The Blind” produced by son Willie Robertson and his wife Korie.

The film about his father’s early infidelities, struggles with alcohol addiction and ultimate redemption through his Christian faith inspired baptisms and impromptu post movie gatherings of fellowship and worship when it was released, Willie said in a previous interview with USA Today Network.

“The response has been phenomenal,” Willie Robertson told USA Today Network. “Stories are starting to pour in of standing ovations, baptisms and post movie gatherings all over the country.”

“Duck Dynasty,” the reality TV show that made the Duck Commander family famous, is returning to A&E’s primetime lineup beginning this summer.

A&E has ordered two, 10-episode seasons of “Duck Dynasty: The Revival.”

The new version will feature Willie and Korie Robertson and their adult children as they key players, but “Miss Kay” was set to make appearances when the revival was announced. Phil Robertson’s condition won’t allow him to appear in the new “Duck Dynasty.”
