Duck Dynasty’s Uncle Si turns British TikTok stars from redcoats to rednecks on podcast

British TikTok stars Josh and Jase of England appeared in a podcast with one of “Duck Dynasty’s” signature stars Uncle Si Robertson in West Monroe on their weeks-long tour of Louisiana.

The theme on the “Duck Call Room” podcast featuring a host of familiar characters from “Duck Dynasty” was “Uncle Si turns British TikTok Stars from Redcoats to Rednecks.”

After seeing their Instagram post from Shreveport, podcast host John-David Owen said he invited the pair of English influencers on the podcast.

“They’re like our first cousins,” Uncle Si said during the podcast. “They went from redcoats to rednecks.”

Josh and Jase spent weeks touring Louisiana cities from Shreveport to West Monroe to Lake Charles to Lafayette to New Orleans.

“It’s the best state in America for food,” said Jase, who said the friends feasted on crawfish, gumbo, etouffee and other unique Louisiana specialties.

Josh and Jase said they’ve visited 25 states. “Every state is like a different country,” Josh said.

They also talked about their Christian faith.

“My church (in Nottingham) is old-fashioned,” Josh said.

“That’s ingrained into Brits,” Si said. “You’ve always got to be proper.”

“Duck Dynasty” is returning to A&E’s primetime lineup for a reboot beginning this summer with 10 episodes of “Duck Dynasty: The Revival.”

The new version will feature Willie and Korie Robertson and their adult children as the key players, but favorites like matriarch “Miss Kay” Robertson and Uncle Si also will make appearances. Patriarch Phil Robertson is suffering with Alzheimer’s disease and isn’t expected to appear on the new show.
