Fallout season 3 is renewed and the season 2 release window has been revealed. Filming recently wrapped on season 2 of the hit series, which will continue to follow Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell), The Ghoul (Walton Goggins), Maximus (Aaron Moten), and Hank MacLean (Kyle MacLachlan). Fallout season 2’s story will continue to expand the scope of the post-apocalyptic setting far beyond what was shown in season 1, which will include the setting of New Vegas.

At Amazon’s annual upfront presentation, Prime Video shared that Fallout has been renewed for season 3 and that season 2 will debut in December 2025. Purnell, Goggins, and Moten appeared on stage at the event to share the news of season 2’s release window. The announcements of the early season 3 renewal and season 2 release window come after season 1 garnered more than 100 million views worldwide and became one of Prime Video’s three most-watched titles of all time.

News of the renewal and the release window emphasize how much of a priority Fallout is for Prime Video. As one of the streamer’s most-watched titles, they are eager to see it expand further, and are already confident that season 2 will perform well.
