UFC Mexico City stars cornermen almost fight each other after brutal knockout win

It’s not everyday you see a fighter’s corner argue amongst themselves… especially after a win.

You’d think Jamall Emmers’ corner would be celebrating following what he did at UFC Mexico City, in the second fight of the night against Brazil’s Gabriel Miranda. The main event is a flyweight feature between Brandon Moreno and Steve Erceg.

The card began with a controversial decision but Emmers wouldn’t be needing the judges’ scorecards, taking care of business in the very first round.

Emmers found his shots early on Miranda, knocking him down with a devastating right hand. With Miranda flat on his back, Emmers landed two more punches for good measure before the referee stepped in to call the contest.

Meanwhile, Jamall Emmers’ coaches cageside had their own altercation.

Following the KO, replay would show striking coach Chris Culley getting in the face of jiu-jitsu coach Jacob Behney, pointing at him angrily. Behney grabbed ahold of Culley’s wrist as the coaches argued.

What happened?
Also in the corner was UFC fighter Chris Padilla, who was about to get in between the two as the broadcast move on from the coaches cam.

Chris Culley is a former MMA fighter with a record of 20-16 and in the same corner, Jacob Behney is very experienced as well and is the longtime father-figure of UFC lightweight King Green.
