Carrie Underwood is keeping her feet on Earth.
The “Before He Cheats” singer, 42, declared that she has no plans to travel to space when she was asked about Katy Perry’s controversial Blue Origin mission in a recent interview with “Access Hollywood.”
“The day I go to space will be when the good lord decides my time on Earth here is done and he takes me home,” Underwood said.

She added: “So, that will be the day I leave this Earth.”
Underwood won “American Idol” in 2005. She replaced Perry, 40, as a judge on the current season of the ABC series. Perry was on the show for seven seasons.
Fellow judge Lionel Richie also weighed in on Perry’s space journey.

“My first impression was, ‘Get out the capsule,’” he told “Access Hollywood.” “It’s not that anything was going to go wrong. It’s just that I don’t like the phrase, ‘Never happened before.’ So I said, ‘You go right on girl.’”
The “Endless Love” singer, 75, joked, “Lionel Richie is having trouble navigating Earth and gravity. Just walking straight every day is a daunting task at this point in my life.”

When asked if he’d go to space, Richie responded, “I’ve been in space since ’76, what are you talking about? Listen, when you have Parliament-Funkadelic, the Ohio Players and Bootsy Collins, and we’re all out front, and the answer is, ‘Am I going to space?’ I’m trying to come back from space!”
Perry flew to space on April 14 with Lauren Sánchez, Gayle King, film producer Kerianne Flynn, aerospace engineer Aisha Bowe and astronaut/activist Amanda Nguyen.
The 11-minute trip was lambasted by numerous celebrities.

Olivia Munn dubbed the historic journey “gluttonous,” while Amy Schumer and Olivia Wilde mocked the launch. Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski said the mission was “confusing” and “beyond parody.”
