Prior to Phil Robertson’s death, which came following a battle with Alzheimer’s, his wife Miss Kay made a rare appearance in the June 1 episode of the Duck Dynasty revival.

Months prior to the Duck Dynasty star’s death following a battle with Alzheimer’s disease, his wife Kay “Miss Kay” Robertson made a rare appearance on the latest episode of the Duck Dynasty revival series June 1.
“Willie’s mom Miss Kay doesn’t live on our family property right now,” Korie Robertson, Willie Roberton’s wife, explained in a confessional. “But, of course, when we have a baby shower or even just family dinner, she is always ready to stop by.”
Indeed, Miss Kay was a fixture at a baby shower celebrating Rebecca Robertson Loftin and John Reed Loftin’s third baby, Xander, who was born in November. (The couple also share Zane, 5, and Holland, 4.)
Miss Kay was one of the many Robertson family members to express her excitement over a new little one, and even led the family in a prayer during the party.
“Father, we’re so grateful for everything you’ve done for us,” Miss Kay said during the moment. “Father, thank you for the precious little babies. They are just worth everything. I know they work us to death and sometimes when they keep us up all night we wonder why we have them. But in his name, we pray. Amen.”
The rare appearance in the episode, which was filmed in the fall of 2024, came amid Phil’s health battle. The Duck Dynasty patriarch—who was dad to Willie, Jace Robertson, Phyllis Robertson Thomas, Alan Robertson and Jules Jeptha Robertson—died May 22.

“Thank you for the love and prayers of so many whose lives have been impacted by his life saved by grace, by his bold faith, and by his desire to tell everyone who would listen the Good News of Jesus,” the family wrote in a joint statement shared at the time. “We are grateful for his life on earth and will continue the legacy of love for God and love for others until we see him again.”

Dad and Daughter
“This day ended my first duck season with a great hunt,” Phyllis captioned this January 2021 snapshot. “And this day one year ago marks the beginning of my life with my real dad after learning paternity tests came back positive. Positive. Have there been ups and downs on this crazy ride? Yes. But we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose -Romans 8:28. I’m so very thankful this day and this one year anniversary ended on a positive note.”

Good Hunting
“That’s a wrap! From NE Louisiana to SE Kansas, duck season 2022-23 is in the books,” Phyllis wrote in February 2022. “Loved spending time with my dad and family and friends. We had theological discussions and enjoyed the wonder of nature. I built some new skills, helped with a missions fundraiser, and shared the Gospel. And we whacked and stacked some waterfowl! I’d call that a successful season.”
