The Bock and Roll Band: Feathered Rockstars Take Center Stage on America’s Got Talent 2022 
In the vibrant world of talent shows, it’s not uncommon to witness unique and unexpected performances. However, Season 17 of America’s Got Talent (AGT) introduced an act that truly redefined originality: The Bock and Roll Band. This ensemble wasn’t your typical musical group; it was a band of talented chickens led by the imaginative 11-year-old Zoey Tomas. 
A Dream Hatched Early
Zoey’s passion for poultry began at the tender age of seven. Fascinated by her feathered friends, she embarked on a journey to train chickens to perform tricks—a hobby that would eventually lead her to the grand stage of AGT. Her dedication and innovative spirit culminated in the creation of The Bock and Roll Band, a testament to her belief that talent knows no species boundaries. 
Setting the Stage Aflame
During their audition in Episode 1702, the AGT audience and judges were treated to a spectacle unlike any other. As the iconic tune of “Footloose” by Kenny Loggins filled the theater, Zoey’s chickens showcased a series of coordinated tricks. From pecking miniature instruments to executing synchronized movements, the performance was a harmonious blend of music and avian artistry. The sheer novelty and entertainment value left the judges in awe, earning The Bock and Roll Band unanimous approval to advance to the next round. 
A Journey Beyond the Coop
Despite their groundbreaking audition, The Bock and Roll Band’s journey concluded during the deliberations, as they were not selected among the 55 acts to proceed to the semifinals. Nonetheless, their performance left an indelible mark on both the audience and the show’s history. They joined the ranks of memorable animal acts, reminiscent of previous AGT participants like Jokgu and Aichan, who also showcased the unexpected talents of chickens. 
Beyond the AGT Spotlight
Zoey and her Bock and Roll Band didn’t stop at AGT. Their unique act garnered attention beyond the show, leading to special performances, including one for kindergarten learners at iLEAD Agua Dulce. This event not only entertained young minds but also inspired them, demonstrating that with creativity and dedication, even the most unconventional dreams can take flight.
