WHITE House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has shared a never-before-seen photo while opening up about her family life in a bombshell interview.
Leavitt, 27, admitted to feeling “guilty” about being away from her son during her duties as the youngest press secretary in history.

She quickly gained national attention after President Donald Trump’s inauguration with her fiery responses to reporters’ questions.
But when Leavitt goes home for the day, she is just like any other mom.
“I spend every second that I possibly can with my son when I’m home on weekends and evenings,” Leavitt told the Christian Broadcasting Network in a recent interview.
She added, “I try to make it home for bedtime as much as I can throughout the week.”
Leavitt gave birth to her first child, Niko, last July, months after tying the knot with real estate mogul Nicholas Riccio, 60.
Their 32-year age gap made headlines after Leavitt stepped into the spotlight.
Leavitt said that it’s “challenging” to juggle her White House role and being a new mom, admitting that she feels some guilt for working.
“I think every working mother understands the demands,” she said.
Leavitt added, “No matter where you are, what you’re doing, there is a sense of guilt.”
The press secretary also shared photos from her own childhood and talked about the big influence her parents had on her.
“I think that value of hard work and determination and drive was instilled in me in a very young age, just by watching my parents work so hard to earn a living,” Leavitt said.
One photo from the family album shows a little Leavitt baking cookies.

Leavitt also shared photos of her and her parents while she was growing up in New Hampshire.

The future White House official went to Saint Anselm College – a Catholic liberal arts college in Manchester, New Hampshire – on a softball scholarship.
“The game of softball in sports prepared me for the game of politics, no doubt about it,” Leavitt said.
She added: “Discipline, hard work, teamwork and also competing against yourself to be the best that you can in athletics, I think, has prepared me especially for this job now.”
While Leavitt’s journey to the White House is impressive, it wasn’t without its challenges and disappointments.
She ran a failed congressional campaign in 2022 before becoming the Trump 2024 campaign’s national press secretary, which landed her the big White House job.
“God knew what he was doing, I believe, and you just have to trust the process and trust that he’s working in your life, and stay grounded in your faith throughout the way,” Leavitt, who was raised Catholic, said.
