On Sunday, Ali updated fans on how she’s been feeling lately with a throwback photo of her family on Instagram.

The 59-year-old wasn’t in the snap as it focused on George and their daughters, Harper and Elliott instead.

The old shot saw the GMA star smiling as he held both little girls in his lap outside.

With one wearing a pink bathing suit and the other wrapped in a towel, it appeared to have been a pool day for the family.

“Sometimes I’m drowning in catastrophic thoughts about the world,” Ali admitted in the caption. “But the one thing I know that holds true and safe is to hug and love your little circle of humans.”

George’s GMA co-host Robin Roberts commented on the post, writing, “Precious beyond words.”

Many fans agreed with Ali’s sentiment and shared their appreciation in the comments section.

“I love your family,” one happy follower wrote. “So sweet. Keep pics coming!”

“Amen, I love this,” said a second.

“Thank you for this lovely reminder,” a third fan commented. “I know I feel grounded and happiest when my young adult sons come home.”

“This picture is priceless and the picture is what life is all about Love and kindness,” another Instagram follower said.

George reshared the photo on his own Instagram Story a couple of hours after she posted it.

Last week, Ali looked stoic as she sat by the fireplace for a selfie, though she wasn’t quite alone.

While her husband wasn’t there, their dog was.

She held a piece of toast with peanut butter on it as her dog stared at the food.

“Stressful eating,” the actress admitted in the caption.

A few days prior, she dropped a confession about her daughters’ true thoughts about her.

Ali wore a fluffy grey beanie and black, long-sleeve puffer onesie outside in an Instagram photo.

“Is it sexy? No. Is it warm? Hell yes. At a certain age is that the priority? Oh yeah…. #AdultOnesie #TheNewbikiniShot,” Ali captioned the shot.

A fan joked in her comment section that her dog “looked embarrassed” by her, and Ali admitted in response that so “were her daughters.”
