Former friends of Justin Bieber are voicing worries about the singer following a new report alleging he is “lost” and in debt.

A source tells People that people once close to the “Peaches” singer are “worried about him” amid his recent string of concerning behavior. Bieber previously opened up about his struggle with “anger issues” and was even seen recently confronting paparazzi for invading his space while out getting coffee.

“He is facing a lot of different demons right now,” the source said. “He is making some really poor decisions lately, further impacting friendships, money, and business.”

The latest update follows a new report from The Hollywood Reporter published Wednesday (April 16) that features claims made by a former team member that Bieber is “lost.”

“Seeing him disintegrate like this … it’s watching the embodiment of someone not living their purpose,” the source said. “He’s lost. There’s no one protecting him because there’s no one there willing to say no to him. You say no, you get blown out.”

THR also alleged that Bieber was millions of dollars in debt after cancelling his Justice Tour in 2022; however, a rep for the musician slammed the claims as “clickbait.”

“This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed — and clearly ill-informed — ‘sources,’ disappointed that they no longer work with Justin,” the rep told People. “As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But, they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path.”
