Rebecca, 42, sat with Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, and Linsey Davis at the desk on Tuesday.
When GMA returned from commercial break, Robin, 63, introduced the host and gave her a warm welcome back.
“We are back now with the big battle on Super Bowl Sunday commercials,” she said.
“And to break it all down, fresh off maternity leave, our chief business correspondent, Rebecca Jarvis, everybody.”
Rebecca gave Robin an “awww” and said it was so good to be back.
“I missed you guys,” she said. “Had to come back for this one too.”
Rebecca talked about the commercials that will air and then revealed baby pictures of her son, whom she shares with her husband, Matt Hanson.
They are also parents to Isabel, 4.
THE NEW ADDITION
When the segment was over, Robin smashed her hand on the table and said, “Ok. All of that was great. Baby pics! Baby pics! Baby pics!”
“Come on. We got to see baby pics.”

Rebecca laughed and said that she and her family are living in “so much joy” right now.
A picture of her son, Leo, appeared on the screen and she revealed that they call him “Leo Fleo.”
“He is a great sleeper, big boy,” she said.
Rebecca said that Isabel is the best big sister and getting that time off with her family is “what she’s dreamed of.”
“And it’s great to be back too.”
Linsey, 52, who’s filling in for Michael Strahan said, “And it looks so good on you. You look so rested.”
“Because that’s what maternity leave is about… sleeping,” Rebecca joked.
All of the hosts cracked up laughing as Robin ended by telling Rebecca once again that it was “wonderful to have her back.”
REBECCA’S JOURNEY
In November, Rebecca appeared on the show via video chat with Matt, Isabelle, and Leo, to announce that her son was finally here.
She broke down in tears on the morning show after she revealed her infertility struggles.
Rebecca called the journey, which began 10 years ago, “magical and exhausting.”
The host had Isabel through in-vitro fertilization, after seven rounds of the treatment, and suffered a miscarriage a little over two years ago after undergoing another round of IVF.
So, the couple then decided to have their second child via surrogate following a suggestion from their doctor.
Rebecca had lost her pregnancy at five months and decided to go down that path.
“And that was painful to hear at the time,” she said, turning to look at her husband.
“Every time I got pregnant, I would look at the world with rose-colored glasses.”
“I would imagine what life was going to be like on the other side,” Rebeca said with a shaky voice and tears in her eyes.
“Every time I lost a pregnancy, to have that taken away, was so tough.”
She ended by saying even in surrogacy, she held her breath for a long time until she knew it was safe.
