“It’s a party in Times Square and we’re taking it back to the 90s with @joeyandaj_present!” the post was captioned.

Michael, 52, Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, and Lara Spencer watched the boy band legends perform on the morning show on Monday.

Robin, 63, and Michael were the only two hosts standing up and dancing.

A GMA producer filmed Michael dirty dancing behind the scenes as Joey and AJ were filmed for TV.

They were performing NSYNC’s iconic song, Bye, Bye, Bye.

Michael moved his hips back and forth and twerked in front of a producer.

He ended the dance by doing the Bye, Bye, Bye wave that the boyband did in the music video.

The clip was posted to Instagram and fans praised the host.

“Omg Michael,” said one fan.

“Go Michael!” wrote another.

“Break it down,” added a third.

BACKSTREET’S IN SYNC

Joey, 47, and AJ, 46, appeared on the morning show to promote their upcoming tour, A Legendary Night.

The boyband legends are touring around the U.S. from March 15 to July 20, performing their bands’ biggest hits.

Joey and AJ said that the tour will consist of music, comedy, and stories of being on the road.

They also said they will be taking requests from the fans for songs they want to hear.

Joey and AJ performed NSYNC’s Bye, Bye, Bye, Tearin’ Up My Heart, and Backstreet Boys’ I Want It That Way, Everybody (Backstreet’s Back), on GMA.

BUST A MOVE

In February, Michael showed off his dance moves once again on GMA.

He challenged co-host DeMarco Morgan to a dance-off.

A breakdance group appeared on the show to teach the hosts how to dance, as they celebrated the evolution of dance styles.

The teacher said they both have rhythm, but Michael said “No!” over and over again.

He showed DeMarco, 45, and Michael how to do the move, which looked like another version of the wave, and executed it flawlessly.

DeMarco went next and waved his arms from side to side.

“I can’t do it,” the host laughed.

Michael then tried and did a full body roll as he moved his arms up his body and blew a kiss at the end.

The men both received a huge round of applause from the crowd behind them.
