EX-GMA3 host Amy Robach’s best friend has thrown shade at the former journalist’s ex-husband, Andrew Shue.

During a podcast episode, Amy’s best friend said she looked happier with her new boyfriend, TJ Holmes.

On February 29, Amy, 50, and TJ’s best friend Nikki Espina appeared on their podcast.

The episode was all about Nikki, how she found love at 39, and how she met Amy and TJ, 46.

Amy said that Nikki was the only person who was a witness to her and TJ during the beginning of their relationship.

Nikki said that one of Amy and TJ’s followers messaged her and asked how Nikki guessed that Amy and TJ were together.

“And this is how I guessed because I never saw you happier,” she said.

“Never saw you happier. There was a new sparkle in your eye.”

Nikki said she guessed about their relationship one month before the news was made public and Amy confirmed it to her.

“I just saw how much more light you were. Is that ok to say?” she asked.

“Yeah,” Amy said.

“You were just happier,” Nikki said.

Nikki seemed to be throwing shade at Amy’s past two marriages.

Before she started dating TJ, Amy was married to actor Andrew Shue.

She was the stepmom to his three sons.

Before Andrew, the former GMA3 host was married to Tim McIntosh.

Together, they had two daughters – Ava and Annaliese.

Although this relationship caused her to lose her job, Amy’s being with TJ seems to make her happier than in her past two marriages, according to Nikki.

Amy’s exes weren’t the only ones shaded on their podcast.

On an earlier episode this month, TJ threw some shade at his ex-wife, Marilee Fiebig.

TJ was in the hot seat on the February 15 episode.

Amy asked her boyfriend questions that she didn’t know the answer to, and nothing was off the table.

After talking about not returning to GMA if given the chance and what his biggest turn-ons and turn-offs were, Amy asked TJ a cliche question.

“This sounds like an interview question, but I’m actually curious what the answer is,” she said.

“What would you tell 22-year-old TJ, just getting out of college?”

TJ answered right away with a sarcastic quip.

“Have a good time, homie,” he said, causing Amy to laugh.

“Go get ’em. Have a good time. Enjoy yourself. Look out. Be careful. Do the best you can. Try not to hurt yourself or hurt anybody else.”

“I would not be sitting here with you, the love of my life, if 22-year-old TJ took my advice and did anything different,” he said.

“You gotta go on that path and that journey. You don’t know where you’re going to end up.”

Amy then went on to ask TJ if he had any regrets and he said the only regret he has is that he didn’t continue playing football after junior high school.

But, he did not say he regretted his affair with Amy.

TJ was first married to Amy Ferson and then Marilee.

Marilee and TJ share one child – Sabine, 11 – together.
