Serena Williams and her eight-year-old daughter Olympia were all smiles this weekend at 2025 BottleRock, where they participated in making a tasty dish on the Williams Sonoma Culinary Stage. On the menu were chicken nachos with cotija cheese sauce, and there was plenty of laughter as Olympia declared herself a better chef than her mother. In fact, at one point during the fun cooking session, Williams playfully stated she was making a mess, to which Olympia quipped, “Yeah, you are!”

During the event, the 23x Grand Slam winner took to Instagram to post a few adorable photos, telling fans, “How fun and how cute to share a stage with @olympiaohanian. She kinda stole the show tbh. I had an incredible time collaborating with @trishayearwood cooking up some delicious peach glazed chicken tacos. What a memorable culinary adventure! Check out these pics!”

Once the festivities were over, she added a follow up post saying, “And that’s a wrap … onto the next. I feel like this is going to be one heck of an epic summer.” It certainly won’t be long before we see Williams’ youngest daughter, Adira, sharing moments like these with her mom and big sister. In fact, last summer Williams posted a clip of Adira on the tennis court  helping her mom collect tennis balls.

While Williams’ love and passion for tennis will never go away, motherhood will always be her top priority. She told Vogue in a personal essay in 2022 that she is a hands-on mom. “I get to pick [Olympia] up from school four or five days a week, and I always looked forward to seeing her face light up when she walked out of the building and saw me waiting there for her. The fact is that nothing is a sacrifice for me when it comes to Olympia. It all just makes sense.”
