Sisters Adira and Olympia Ohanian haven’t even hit double digits yet, but the girls have already proven to have a natural talent for applying makeup—and no one is prouder than their mom, Serena Williams.

The tennis legend recently gave Instagram fans a glimpse of her sweet mother-daughter moment with both girls, including footage of Adira using a beauty blender on her mom like a total pro. Williams wrote, “Look at my girls!!!!! The way @adiraohanian handles that sponge though! She’s not even 2 yet!”

Williams continued, “I have loved makeup my entire life. It started young for me and my girls are following my path… now if I could just get them to pick up a tennis racket…. @olympiaohanian @wyn.”

In the video, Adira applies foundation to her mom’s face and proceeds to blend with a sponge while Olympia works on a cosmetology mannequin head. And towards the end of the clip, Williams asks Olympia a few questions about her beauty skills, including how long she’s been doing makeup. In response, the 7-year-old replies that she started at just three years old. When asked why she’s interested in doing makeup, she replied, “Because I want to be good like mommy.”

One fan commented, “I love these beautiful mother and daughter moments.” Another wrote, “This is adorable! I love the freedom you’re giving the girls to express themselves.”

After spotting this adorable clip on my feed, I couldn’t help but recall the tennis star’s IG Story from 2020, when she shared footage of 3-year-old Olympia applying “makeup” (aka markers) to her mom’s face.

In the IG Story, Olympia used a green marker on Williams’s lips, but the makeover took an interesting turn when she grabbed a blue marker and started to play dentist. Williams, of course, continued to play along like the good sport that she is, and by the end, she shared a promo graphic that read “Olympia Beauty.”

Looks to me like Adira and Olympia are right on track to become stellar makeup artists, just like their mom.
