Saturday was a rough day for LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. The team lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves at home by 22 points in Game 1 of the first round.

Just like that, James and Los Angeles no longer have home-court advantage in the series.

The leading scorer in NBA history, James finished with 19 points, five rebounds and three assists in 36 minutes against Minnesota. He shot 8-of-18 from the field, 1-of-5 from 3 and 2-of-2 from the free-throw line.

“Maybe it took us one playoff game to now get a feel for it and know what type of intensity, the type of physicality is going to be brought to the game,” James said after Game 1. “But that’s just the way they play. So we should be more than prepared for that on Tuesday night.”

Along with losing to the Timberwolves, James had to hear rapper Kevin Gates say some harsh things about his wife, Savannah James.

However, based on his latest IG post, it appears LeBron James is in good spirits.

“Kings don’t concern themselves with the opinion of peasants,” he commented.

Lakers Daily shared the screenshot of James’ comment on X, seemingly connecting it to Gates’ video.

“I don’t like the way Savannah look at LeBron,” the rapper said. “I like the white women look at LeBron.”

LeBron and Savannah James got married in 2013. They have three kids together: Bronny, Bryce and Zhuri.

Bronny and LeBron James are teammates on the Lakers, who are facing a must-win situation in Game 2 at home to avoid going down 0-2 in their series against the Timberwolves.

Game 2 between the Lakers and Timberwolves is on Tuesday. James, the oldest (40) active player in the NBA, will need to play better than he did in Game 1 for Los Angeles to win.
