Kylie Jenner Praised for What She Did After Timothee Chalamet Lost Best Actor at Oscars 2025

On Sunday night Timothee Chalamet had a chance at making history at the Oscars as he attempted to unseat Adrien Brody as the youngest actor to ever win best actor in a leading role.

Chalamet was nominated for his role as the legendary musician Bob Dylan in the biopic “A Complete Unknown” from director James Mangold. Ironically, he was pit against Brody (“The Brutalist”), as one of the five nominees for best actor alongside Ralph Fiennes (“Conclave), Sebastian Stan (“The Apprentice”) and Colman Domingo (“Sing Sing”).

In the end, Brody walked out with the win and his second Oscar, keeping Chalamet from making history as the youngest winner.

Shortly before the category was announced on Sunday night, fans noticed Chalamet’s girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, who had been sitting by his side all night was notably absent. In her place was Chalamet’s mother, Nicole Flender.

Fans couldn’t help but praise Jenner for her decision to move right behind the young actor and then provide love and support after he lost the award.

“The way he reached out to kylie first. I love that they love each other,” one fan said.

“I think it’s sweet she moved back so mom could be beside him if he won,” said another.

“The way she moved from beside him to behind him so his mum could sit next to him incase he won I love these two,” offered a third.
