Whoopi Goldberg Has Scathing Message For Men Who Believe ‘Your Body, My Choice’
“The View” host took aim at “anonymous” keyboard warriors who use social media as a shield to spew misogynistic rhetoric.
Whoopi Goldberg has a stern message for men who still believe women’s bodies are their property.
On Monday’s episode of ”The View,” Goldberg wasted no time criticizing those who cling to this archaic mindset. The conversation began when the panel turned its attention to self-proclaimed misogynist Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan, both of whom are entangled in legal turmoil in the U.S. and abroad. Earlier this month, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced that his office has launched a criminal investigation into the brothers, who are both accused of rape and human trafficking in Romania. The Tates have denied all allegations of sexual misconduct.
The “Ghost” actor took aim at “anonymous” keyboard warriors who use social media as a shield to spew misogynistic rhetoric.

“You can say all that stuff when [you’re] not in front of a woman,” Goldberg said. “This is 2025 y’all, and those things, those ideas that you have, [you’re] not going to get away with them.”
Goldberg then addressed men who endorse the phrase “your body, my choice,” pointing out that such individuals rarely say this to “real women.” Co-host Sunny Hostin, however, noted that these people have amassed a sizable online following, underscoring the popularity of the rhetoric.
“You can be in your feelings if you want to,” Goldberg said, but “I would not recommend walking up to any woman and saying any of this because there’s no guarantee that you will leave the situation with your teeth intact.”

Goldberg urged these men to “grow up” and realize that “the world is changing.”
The “Sister Act” actor furthered her point by acknowledging that marginalized groups, including Black and trans individuals, are here to stay because “this is our country.”
“And you know how we know? We know it’s our country because we’re allowed to be who we are,” Goldberg declared. “You can try to remove all the books and do all of that, but you’re not going to kill the spirit. The spirit lives, y’all.”
