Actor Ben Affleck, 52, bought a house for $20.5 million in Los Angeles amid rumors of a rift in his marriage with Jennifer Lopez.

According to TMZ on July 27, Ben Affleck bought a five-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion with many other amenities in the Pacific Palisades residential area, Los Angeles. Jennifer Lopez is also said to be looking for a new home.

Two months ago, Ben Affleck left his Beverly Hills home and moved into a rented apartment near his ex-wife Jennifer Garner in the Brentwood neighborhood. In June, paparazzi spotted him returning to his old home to clear out the rest of his belongings while Lopez was in Europe.

The couple is currently selling their shared villa and many other valuables. They bought the house for $60.8 million in May 2023, after a year of marriage. TMZ said the couple had secretly tried to sell it through a real estate brokerage but no one bought it. Therefore, they decided to sell it publicly with a listed price of $68 million from July 11.

Since the divorce rumors arose, Ben Afflek and Jennifer Lopez have not spoken out. At the end of May, Lopez announced that she would be canceling her This Is Me…Live tour to spend time with family and friends, then continue her schedule in Europe. Meanwhile, Ben Affleck has been busy on the set of The Accountant 2 – his latest film project.
