Benny Blanco Hilariously Admits He ‘Looked Like a Slob’ Next to Fiancée Selena Gomez on the Oscars 2025 Red Carpet – Find Out Why!

Benny Blanco knows how to hype up his girl.

While appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” alongside his fiancée, Selena Gomez, the music producer took a look back on the couple’s Oscars 2025 red carpet appearance.

Blanco, 37, told Fallon on Thursday that the “Only Murders in the Building” actress deserves “a medal of honor” after watching her get glam for the March 2 event.

Meanwhile, he joked, “I looked like a slob” in comparison. Blanco wore an all-white suit with a diamond brooch instead of a tie and a black overcoat embellished with floral details.

Meanwhile, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer, 32, stunned in an off-the-shoulder rose gold Ralph Lauren gown dripping in over 16,000 glass droplets and Rosemont crystals, all sewn on by hand by a team of 12 artisans.

However — thanks to all those glimmering glass and crystal accents — Blanco admits, “Getting her there was so hard.”

“First of all, the dress is 35 pounds!” he exclaimed. “She’s carrying a 35-pound dress and her heels are eight inches high. and then she has to stand on a bus while we’re moving because she can’t sit down.”

Styled by Molly Dickinson, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer’s look was inspired by Sophia Loren — and she even worked with the iconic superstar’s tailor to customize her look.

It was the former Disney star’s first appearance at the Academy Awards, where her movie, “Emilia Pérez” was up for tons of awards.

Earlier this week, Blanco’s laid-back style clashed with Gomez’s elegance once again when the two stepped out for a date night in New York City sporting opposite outfits.

The actress kept things polished and understated in an all-black ensemble, opting for a tailored suit and a complementing top with a low neckline.

The music producer, on the other hand, went in a more playful, experimental direction with his look, wearing a colorful embroidered linen top, cow-print pants and black cowboy boots.

However, the pair are in sync musically, it seems, as they released a joint album, “I Said I Love You First,” today.
