Prices start from £187,230 for the new Maserati. It will spearhead a multi-million pound campaign for the luxury Italian vehicle manufacturer.

The former Manchester United legend inspected the Maserati closely as he was shown the butterfly doors and two-seat interior.

While Paolo Tubito, Maserati Chief Marketing Officer, remarked: ‘The Brand is moving forward, inaugurated a new Era. Maserati is driven to challenge the status quo being innovative by nature, powered by passion, and unique by design.

‘The partnership with David is the embodiment of all these values.’

Later that month, David was seen embracing his wild side as he performed his own car stunts for a thrilling new clip as he got to work in his ambassador role.

The football star was seen getting behind the wheel of a red Maserati Levante Trofeo SUV and doing donuts under a Miami freeway.

Not holding back, David expertly spun the vehicle and beamed a grin as he quickly forgot all about his ‘meetings’ and errands, instead embracing the joy of driving.
