Jennifer Aniston Reacts to Making Unexpected Cameo in The Last of Us

Are Jennifer Aniston & Pedro Pascal Dating? What We Know

Jennifer Aniston reacted to her recent cameo during the season two premiere of The Last of Us starring her friend Pedro Pascal, though she didn’t exactly appear on set of the HBO drama.

Jennifer Aniston always finds a way to work with her friends.

After making an unexpected—and perhaps unconventional—cameo in the season two premiere of pal Pedro Pascal’s HBO drama The Last of Us, the actress made light of her guest appearance on social media.

During the April 13 episode of the post-apocalyptic series, Ellie (played by Bella Ramsey) discovered an early 2000s magazine with Jennifer, 56, as its cover star and proceeded to flip through its pages. The Friends alum shared a clip of the scene on her Instagram Stories April 22, joking, “Of all things to survive the apocalypse.”

Weeks before Jennifer popped up on the series, rumors emerged that she and Pedro, 50, might be dating after they stepped out together in West Hollywood. However, the Gladiator II star promptly put the speculation to rest, insisting nothing romantic was going on.

“We’re friends and we went to dinner with mutual friends,” he told E! News at the season two premiere of The Last of Us in March. “It happens.”

Later, Pedro offered insight into his close friendship with the Emmy winner.

“If you’re in a party setting and you make eye contact with Jen,” he told Access Hollywood at the event, “she just knows exactly what’s going on with you and knows exactly how to make you feel [okay].”

In fact, Pedro illustrated his point with a very specific example.

“If you’re really high at a party, make eye contact with Jen Aniston, and she’ll calm your central nervous system,” he continued. “You’ll be like, ‘Oh no, everything’s fine, I’m safe.’”

As for Jen, she offered her own praise for Pedro as she marked his birthday in a post on her Instagram Stories earlier this month, sharing a comic focused on whether the Game of Thrones alum’s warm persona was authentic.

“Can confirm,” she wrote alongside the image April 2, “as nice as he seems.”
