NFL star Derek Carr puts his Nevada mansion up for sale at $9 million

Now that Derek Carr has moved his career to New Orleans as the quarterback for the Saints, he no longer needs his Nevada home, which he occupied while leading the Las Vegas Raiders. Consequently, he has re-listed his modern Tuscan-style mansion in Henderson for just under $9 million—about $5.4 million more than he originally paid.

Carr and his wife Heather purchased the property for $3.6 million in early 2019 while it was still under construction. They subsequently customized the two-story home with personalized features. Finished in 2020, the stucco and stone residence is set behind walls and gates on over a third of an acre in the exclusive Southern Highlands Community. It offers five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and approximately 8,600 square feet of living space. Additionally, there is a two-bedroom, two-bath guesthouse with 1,000 square feet, and an eight-car garage with a Tesla charger.

Carr, the younger brother of former NFL quarterback and current NFL Network analyst David Carr, was drafted by the Raiders in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Over his career, he set franchise records for passing yards, completions, attempts, and touchdown passes. After losing his starting position late in the 2022 season, the four-time Pro Bowler was released and signed a four-year, $150 million contract with the New Orleans Saints.
