Selena Gomez is shining with a Sophia Loren inspired look at the 2025 Oscars
Selena Gomez, who is nominated in the Best Original Song category at the 2025 Oscars, dazzled as she made her way down the red carpet.
Selena Gomez is looking good for everyone at the 2025 Oscars.
After all, the “Good For You” singer stunned on the 97th annual award ceremony’s red carpet at the Dolby Theatre March 2 in Los Angeles.
For the evening, Selena—whose track “Mi Camino” from Emilia Pérez is nominated in the Best Original Song category—arrived in a in a custom, blush-colored Ralph Lauren gown covered in tiny, clear gems. She accessorized her shimmering ensemble a classic bob hairstyle and chunky diamond choker. The elegant outfit was finished off with a dewy makeup look and nude lip color. There’s only been love in Selena’s building as she’s been celebrating her engagement to Benny Blanco, along with her nominations for Emilia Pérez and Only Murders in the Building this award season, as she was up for Golden Globes in January for both her work in the Hulu series and Netflix film.
While there’s been a lot of buzz surrounding her relationship and her latest roles, including criticism about her Spanish in the Netflix film, the 32-year-old’s life is as sweet as ice cream.
“I’m genuinely happy where I am and I feel great,” Selena gushed on Live From E!: Golden Globes in January. “People tend to question every part of my life, but that’s okay. As long as I know where I am and who I’m around, I’m solemn.”
And it helps that being a part of Emilia Pérez has been such a rewarding experience.
“I think that this was a wonderful stepping stone,” she continued, “to hopefully show people how much I care, and I’m willing to go there as a performer, and it’s so liberating. So I just hope for more projects to come.”
It’s even better with her costars like Karla Sofía Gascón and Zoe Saldaña, whom she grew close to while filming. In fact, Zoe revealed that there was “a lot of wine” involved while the trio bonded.
“A lot of cheese, a lot of bread,” she told Live From E! earlier that night. “Nobody was gluten-free. When in France, you just can’t.”
“I think that that was wonderful,” Zoe continued. “We all came with our vulnerabilities and our fire and we just cheered each other on. What I love is the fact that we are being recognized for the sisterhood that we created.”
