Jennifer Aniston Doesn’t Just Believe in Ghosts, She Used to Live With One

Jennifer Aniston arrives at the premiere of Netflix's 'Dumplin'' at the Chinese Theater on December 6, 2018 in Los Angeles, California.Did you ever hear about the one where Jennifer Aniston hired a medium? Although it sounds like an episode of Friends, Aniston revealed that it wasn’t a TV storyline — in real life, she once had a ghost problem.

Appearing on The Late Late Show With James Corden alongside her Dumplin’ collaborator Dolly Parton, Aniston said that her first apartment in Los Angeles was haunted.

“I had just moved from New York City to California, and someone said to me, ‘Oh, you have a spirit in your house. You should have someone [come by] and clear the house. And I was like, ‘Oh man. I’ve landed in Los Angeles.’ We’re talking about ghosts, spirits and a ghost whisperer?” she recounted.

But it didn’t take long for Aniston and her (unnamed female) roommate to figure out that those rumors might have merit. Aniston explained that they began experiencing unexplained phenomena, such as the dishwasher or coffee maker starting by themselves. “Or the stereo would just turn on at full volume,” she said. “And it was terrifying!”

Although she originally thought the suggestion to have someone “clear” the house was silly, she ultimately did hire a medium to come visit the home. At first, things seemed to be going well. The medium put frankincense in an old ashtray and began vanquishing the spirit with words.

But when the medium walked to a different corner of the room, the ashtray inexplicably cracked, Aniston said.

“When we got to the really thick, thick, thick 1975 ashtray that was sitting on the table and that cracked, and she asked me to leave, then I…” Aniston said, stopping to imply that’s the moment she really believed the ghost was real.

And that’s not all — Aniston revealed the ghost “hated [her] roommate.” Instead of clueing her roomie in, though, Aniston confesses she simply ducked out for good, saying, “No, I moved out. I feel terrible, but I couldn’t say, ‘It didn’t like you.’ She’s fine… I don’t know. I got out of there too quick.”

Corden chose that moment to point out that perhaps the ghost wasn’t the only one with a grudge. “Sounds like it wasn’t just the ghost,” he said as the audience laughed. “It sounds like you didn’t like her very much.”

While Aniston doesn’t speak often about her paranormal experience, she did tell Harper’s Bazaar in 2017 that her time in that haunted Laurel Canyon home left an impression.

“Now, every house I go to, I have a healer or a medium come through,” Aniston told interviewer Amy Sedaris. “This makes me sound like an absolute insane human being.”

Jennifer Aniston has once again captured the world’s attention — but this time, it’s not for movie role or red carpet appearance. The beloved Friends star was photographed this weekend wearing what appears to be dazzling engagement ringsparking widespread speculation — and total disbelief once the identity of the man behind the ring was revealed.

The surprising moment occurred on Saturday afternoon, when Aniston, 55, was seen leaving private lunch in Malibu with friends. Dressed casually in cream blouse, wide-leg trousers, and sunglasses, the actress looked relaxed — but it was the sparkling diamond ring on her left hand that caught everyone’s eye.

She wasn’t trying to hide it,” said one onlooker. “She was smiling, talking, gesturing with her hands — and that ring was impossible to miss.”

Social media exploded within hours as fans dissected the photos, with “Jennifer Aniston Engaged” quickly trending on X (formerly Twitter). Most assumed she might have quietly rekindled relationship with an ex — perhaps Justin Theroux, or even, as the internet loves to fantasize, Brad Pitt.

But when sources close to the actress confirmed who the ring came from, fans were left completely stunned.

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly engaged to British musician and former One Direction star Harry Styles.

Yes — that Harry Styles.

The news was confirmed by an unnamed insider who spoke to multiple entertainment outlets late Saturday evening. “They’ve been quietly seeing each other for over year,” the source said. “It started as friendship — they connected over wellness, art, and shared sense of humor. One thing led to another, and here they are.”

The 30-year-old singer and 55-year-old actress were first publicly seen together at charity gala in Beverly Hills last year, but few suspected anything romantic at the time. Styles, known for his eclectic fashion and genre-defying music, reportedly met Aniston through mutual friends in the wellness space.

They bonded during retreat in Big Sur,” the insider added. “What surprised everyone was how natural their connection was. No games, no spotlight — just lot of laughter and deep emotional bond.”

Aniston has not publicly confirmed the engagement, but paparazzi photos taken over the weekend show her and Styles leaving private residence in Los Angeles together, holding hands and both wearing rings — Harry with silver band on his middle finger, Jennifer with diamond solitaire on her left.

Fans are divided — shocked, excited, and curious.

While the couple’s 25-year age difference has sparked debate online, many fans and celebrities alike are applauding their unexpected union.

They’re both adults, both successful, and clearly happy,” one fan posted. “Who are we to question love?”

Even former co-star Courteney Cox reportedly gave the romance her blessing. According to source close to the actress, “Court loves Harry and thinks he brings out playful, lighthearted side of Jen that’s been missing for while.”

Aniston’s dating life has long been subject of media obsession, often overshadowing her impressive career. The actress has been married twice — first to Brad Pitt in 2000 and later to Justin Theroux in 2015. Both marriages ended in divorce.

She’s been through lot,” said the source. “This time, she’s not rushing into anything public. She wants to enjoy the moment on her own terms.”

As of now, no wedding date has been announced, and neither Aniston nor Styles has commented publicly on the engagement. But if the ring — and the smiles — are any indication, this Hollywood twist could be the love story no one saw coming.

For fans who’ve followed Aniston through decades of triumphs, heartbreak, and resilience, this news offers hopeful reminder: love can still surprise you — even in Malibu, on sunny Saturday afternoon.
