Pat Sajak, 78, Pranks Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White Is Horrified
Former Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak is back in action on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune — and he’s not about to let current WoF host Ryan Seacrest get in his way.
In a hilarious clip shared on Instagram, Sajak, 78, addressed the camera with Vanna White on his arm.
“I am delighted to have one more shot at hosting Celebrity Wheel of Fortune,” he said. “I’m very happy to be here and I want to thank Ryan Seacrest for allowing me to come back for this season.
“You alright back there, Ryan?” the TV personality added, turning back towards the back of the stage.
The scene shifted to show Seacrest locked in his dressing room, trying desperately to open the door.
“Sajak!” he said. “You said he’d be right back with the key,” he added, looking at the camera.
When the video switched back to Sajak, he didn’t seem too concerned.
“There’s plenty of ventilation. He’ll be fine. Don’t worry about a thing,” he told White, who did indeed look rather worried.
“Really?” she asked.
“Yeah. Yeah,” Sajak insisted.
Fans on Instagram loved seeing the chemistry between the new and old guard.

.”
“Poor Ryan. And Vanna’s shocking look on her face made me laugh!
” someone else added.
“This is comedy gold ,” another fan declared.
Sajak retired from Wheel of Fortune in 2024 after 41 seasons, later announcing he would return for one final season of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. Seacrest will replace him next season.
