Wheel Of Fortune: Pat Sajak hands the reigns to Ryan Seacrest
Ryan Seacrest gave fans a rare glimpse into his personal life recently.
The upcoming Wheel of Fortune host posted a sentimental snapshot of him and his dad, Gary, grabbing a slice of pizza together for Gary’s birthday last weekend.
In the snapshot, the two both grabbed a slice of pepperoni pizza from a plate that Ryan was holding, and took a delicious bite.
“This might be even better than a burger for the table. Happy birthday to one of my favorite people to share a slice with. Love you, Dad,” Ryan wrote on the heartfelt post.
Fans were quick to jump in the comments to share their support to the family.
“Happy birthday to your father! I love how you celebrate your family,” one commenter wrote.
“The happiest of birthdays to your dad! Wishing him many blessings!” another echoed.
“Happy Birthday Mr Seacrest!!!! Enjoy every minute!!!” chimed in a third.
Although Ryan’s father likes to stay out of the spotlight, we know that he is currently the president & CEO of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. Ryan, 49, also revealed to On Air with Ryan Seacrest last year that pizza is his dad’s go-to celebration treat.
“We’re gonna make it very simple. I will be with Gary Seacrest, and all he wants is his fried egg sandwich in the morning, and he wants pizza. [We’re having a] pizza party. And we call my father Mr. Formaggio, he likes that on Father’s Day,” he talked about his Father’s Day plans.
A year later, Gary popped up on Ryan’s social media accounts again, posing next to his son and his wife Constance while they all sported big grins.
“Wishing a fantastic #FathersDay to the coolest dad around, Gary Seacrest! Thanks for all the unforgettable memories and for teaching me all of life’s important lessons. Love you, Dad!” Ryan lovingly captioned the post.
The Seacrest family also celebrated another very important occasion together last month: National Egg Day.
To mark the special event, Ryan showed him, Gary, and Constance in the process of conjuring up yolk-filled dishes together.
In the picture, Gary and Constance proudly demonstrated their plates to the camera, while Ryan gave a wholesome smile.
