Vanna White hints Maggie Sajak will replace her on Wheel of Fortune as star says Pat’s daughter can fill in ‘any time’

VANNA White has hinted that Maggie Sajak will be her successor on Wheel of Fortune in a major statement on Tuesday.

The longtime letter-turner implied the 28-year-old social media correspondent may be the next Vanna.

Host Pat Sajak, 76, is filming his final season as host of the game show.

But his companion Vanna, 66, has hinted there may be another Sajak to carry on the family name once her new contract is up in 2026.

The co-host told E! on Maggie, 28, “I think she’s a good replacement if I can’t be there for some reason.

“She’s been around it her whole life, so I think she can fill in for me for sure.”

“She’s precious, she’s beautiful, she’s very good,” Vanna added.

“I think she learned a lot from her father because he’s such a good interviewer.”

Vanna continued: “I think she’s good for our show.”

Vanna’s gesture isn’t to be taken lightly as she has never previously backed anyone to step in for her publically.

Maggie is one of two children Pat shares with his second wife Lesly Brown, 58.

They also share a son Patrick, 32, who is pursuing a career in law.

Maggie handles Wheel of Fortune’s online presence and appears during commercial bumpers, a role she’s held since 2021.

Maggie recently announced a Fan Fridays segment featuring the second-generation Sajak touring the U.S. and Europe and an all-new celebrity social lounge for Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.

Nearly every single one of Maggie’s Instagram posts has to do with the game show, and she’s appeared on-screen since she was just a child.

Maggie previously stepped in for Vanna twice to turn letters, once when Vanna hosted and again when Vanna was a Celebrity contestant.

Vanna finally got execs to extend her contract on September 20 after months of pay raise battles.

Her new contract runs through the 2025-2026 season.

She will co-host for two years with Pat’s successor Ryan Seacrest.

Vanna – who makes $3 million a season – had reportedly been seeking a raise from the show’s producers for the first time in 18 years.

She reportedly lawyered up and asked for half of Pat’s $15million yearly salary.

According to TMZ, the TV star got a “substantial pay increase” with the deal, though the exact figure is undisclosed.

Vanna – who, like Pat, started co-hosting 40 years ago – will be with Ryan for his first two years starting next fall.

That said, a source close to the show claimed to the Daily Mail that execs want her new contract “to be her last contract.”

“So there is a little more maneuverability to change things up in a few years when they look for her replacement,” the insider claimed.

Maggie also quietly won out in Vanna’s recent salary agreement.

She inked a deal to stay on as head of social media until at least 2025.

That means she will stay on the board when her dad Pat retires, another major hint that she’s next in line to Vanna’s throne.

As the show’s third most front-facing figure, fans regularly post under her photos that she could replace Vanna when the letter-turner is ready.
