The high-flying guard, who plays for the Orlando Magic’s G-League affiliate, once again captivated fans with jaw-dropping aerial displays and secured his place in the record books.

McClung faced stiff competition in the final round against San Antonio Spurs rookie Stephon Castle, but he saved his best for last. With the crowd roaring in anticipation, he took flight over a car and three people and finished with a spectacular dunk that earned him a perfect 50 from the judges.

The moment cemented his dominance in the event and made him the first player to win three straight dunk contests since the event’s inception in 1984. He also joined Nate Robinson as the only three-time winners in history.

The contest featured rising stars, with Chicago’s Matas Buzelis and Milwaukee’s Andre Jackson Jr. bowing out in the first round. Castle pushed McClung to bring his best. But in the end, the reigning champion’s creativity and execution proved unmatched.
