Throughout his illustrious career, he has played a significant role in mentoring numerous young athletes on the court.

The Lakers made a noteworthy move by selecting Dalton Knecht with the 17th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. Knecht has had invaluable opportunities to compete alongside stars such as James and Anthony Davis. However, he emphasizes that he garnered his most valuable insights from former Lakers teammate D’Angelo Russell.

“I’d say D’Lo [Russell], he gave me the best advice right after a game. Just move on, don’t care about how you did…because you got a next game coming towards you. No matter how high or how low that game was, you gotta move and be ready to play the next one and get better.” Knecht said.

On February 6, 2025, the Lakers completed a trade that would send Knecht and Cam Reddish to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for Mark Williams. However, the transaction was later canceled after Williams failed his physical examination with the Lakers.

LeBron James Discussed His Relationship With Stephen Curry

James and Curry once had a significant rivalry, but over time, they became very good friends. He explained the reasons behind their previous animosity during their rivalry.

“I mean, s—, when you’re in a dogfight and there’s one guy that’s trying to stop you from reaching your goals, you’re going to dislike that person. He disliked me, I disliked him because we were both fighting for what the f— we wanted, and that’s the Larry O’Brien Trophy,” James said.

The electrifying connection between James and Curry at the Paris Olympics has ignited a wave of excitement among NBA fans. Many analysts and supporters are buzzing with the possibility of them teaming up on the same NBA roster before they hang up their sneakers. However, as of now, this dream combination has yet to come to fruition.
