LaMelo Ball’s injury update is giving woes to the Hornets fans. While the Hornets are carrying one of the worst franchise records right now, they could sour LA’s playoff run at best.

Ball’s injury situation has been a significant concern for the Hornets, as he has only played in two of the team’s last nine games. However, there’s good news for fans looking forward to his availability on Wednesday. Ball is upgraded to probable for the game. His health is critical for the team Hornets, who have struggled significantly without him.

On the season, Ball has been putting up impressive numbers. He’s averaging 27.3 points, 7.2 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per game. This scoring average is a career-high for him, showing that he is taking on a greater role as a scorer. Even though his assist and rebound averages have dipped compared to previous seasons.

However, the Hornets have only managed one win in the 19 games he has missed this season. Despite a rough stretch, having Ball back in the lineup gives Charlotte a fighting chance against a formidable opponent. With Ball in the mix, the Hornets will look to improve their record of 12-21 when he plays.

LaMelo Ball Missed Chaotic NBA All-Star Despite Leading In Votings

LaMelo Ball may have felt a mix of disappointment and relief after being left out of this year’s All-Star Game. While he was the leading vote-getter among Eastern Conference guards and deserved a spot, the format and execution of the event this year left much to be desired.

Instead of a traditional way of showing talent, the game evolved into a play filled with distractions. Between excessive breaks, numerous ads, and a frustrating lack of actual basketball, Ball might have dodged a bullet. And he might be at ease by not participating in what many considered a disappointing display.

The NBA’s introduction of a tournament format for the All-Star selections this year was met with skepticism, and it seems that hesitation was warranted. Though the early rounds showed some promise, the championship stage turned into a lackluster experience.

Ball, who thrives on the court, would have had little chance to shine with only about 30 minutes of real gameplay sandwiched between extended skits and tributes. Ultimately, while LaMelo Ball would have loved the chance to represent Charlotte and add an All-Star nod to his resume, it seems he was fortunate to miss out on a chaotic event.
