Now, LeBron James getting selected to the All-Star team is one of the most common occurrences in recent NBA history. However, with the passing of time, things seem to be fading away slowly.

While James has been the craftsman to numerous incredible victories for his team, the legend is now nearing the end of his career. At 40, James wants to enjoy everything that is left to the fullest.

“There ain’t going to be that many times left,” James said. “So you take it all in and you don’t take it for granted. It’s coming to an end soon.”

Surely, there has been a lot of noise regarding LeBron James’s retirement. Despite his performance looking quite decent in recent years, the speculations have not stopped. However, NBA insider Brian Windhorst has a completely opposing take on the matter.

Brian Windhorst Thinks The End Is Not Near For LeBron James

Looking at LeBron James’s caliber, Brian Windhorst does not think he is done yet. Opining on the GOAT’s future, Windhorst stated that the Lakers have great roster management that is helping James’ cause. He also claimed that James still has quite some time left to enthrall his fans further.

Unlike other people, I don’t think the end is near for LeBron James. I think he’s got a runway left, he can still be an All-NBA player next year. I see no reason why, a year from now, they can’t be a team that is really hunting for that top spot—that title,” Windhorst stated.

Thus, it is evident that LeBron James, too, has started thinking about his retirement in hindsight. However, while he is not going away now, James’ fans will surely want to soak in every moment that the Lakers’ legend steps onto the court in the near future.
