There’s no hiding for Nico Harrison, no matter where he goes.

He’s got hate from the Dallas crowd, and now the Los Angeles Lakers fans are trolling him. Reason? Too naive to ask. Ever since he played the bad man’s role in Luka Doncic’s trade to LA, fans have been unapologetically blasting him.
During the Dallas Mavericks’ recent matchup against the Lakers, the LA fans made sure to humiliate the Mavs GM Harrison. But with a twist. The Lakers obviously got a win-win trade as they offloaded Anthony Davis and got a young superstar in return. However, the supporting crowd made their loud chants available for the opponent’s manager.
“Thank you, Nico!” the whole arena was heard chanting during the game when Doncic was making free throws.
As the game progressed, it was clear that Doncic was intent on proving his former GM wrong. The young superstar put on an electrifying performance and concluded a well-rounded game with 12 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists in the first half alone.
Every time he scored, he made a point to glare towards the Mavericks’ bench. Now, Harrison has effectively become the most popular man in Los Angeles, all while being vilified in Dallas.
Luka Doncic Went Beast Mode With Nico Harrison In Attendance
While the crowd made sure to politely poke Nico Harrison, Luka Doncic joined the party too. On the night of the first matchup between the two teams since the deadline deal, Doncic wasted no time in showcasing what the Mavericks had lost.
Just six minutes into the first quarter, it became crystal clear: Nico Harrison and the Mavs were in for a long night. Doncic was on fire, delivering an impressive performance that left everyone questioning the decision to part ways with a player who had become a franchise cornerstone.
During those opening moments, Doncic put on a clinic, racking up seven points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and a block. Despite some early hiccups, like stepping out of bounds and having a few points taken off the board, Doncic got the hold again.
Starting alongside LeBron James and others, Doncic recorded his first triple-double with the Lakers. He scored 19 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 assists, along with three steals and two blocks against the Mavericks. The Lakers defeated the Mavs 107-99 and improved to a 35-21 record.
