Michael Bublé recently delighted fans with a charming story about his son’s amusing reaction to the news of their fourth child. During his appearance on The View, the acclaimed singer, who is 46 years old, shared his excitement about expecting another baby with his wife, Luisana Lopilato, who is 34. The couple already has three children: Noah, 8, Elias, 6, and Vida, 3.
Bublé recounted the moment they shared the pregnancy news with their kids on Christmas Eve. They told them, “Mommy has a baby in her tummy. You’re going to have a little brother or sister.” Elias, their 6-year-old, was visibly upset and asked, “Why didn’t you invite us to watch when you fell in love and you made the baby?” This innocent and humorous question left Bublé speechless, as it highlighted the children’s limited understanding of how babies are made. He found it endearing that Elias simply wanted to be part of the moment when love created a new sibling.
Reflecting on fatherhood, Bublé expressed how blessed he feels to welcome another child, emphasizing his love for parenting and his commitment to raising kind-hearted individuals. He stated, “I’m just so lucky to be their dad,” and shared his approach to teaching his children by example, encouraging them to treat others as they would like to be treated.
Bublé also praised his wife, describing her as an incredible woman, a wonderful mother, and his best friend. He humorously noted that she now has five children to look after, including him, as he often feels like one of the kids.
The announcement of their fourth child was creatively revealed in Bublé’s new music video for “I’ll Never Not Love You.” In the video, he and Lopilato recreate iconic romantic scenes from films such as The Notebook, Love Actually, and Titanic. The video concludes with a heartwarming scene where Bublé is brought back to reality, greeted by Lopilato revealing her baby bump alongside their three children.
On The View, Bublé shared how naturally his family inspires his music, expressing gratitude for the love and support they provide. He reflected on the challenges his family has faced and how these experiences have given him a profound sense of perspective. This perspective fuels his appreciation for the life he shares with them, calling it a true celebration.
His upcoming album, Higher, is a testament to this celebration, with songs inspired by his family. Bublé expressed how fortunate he feels, saying, “If I can’t be inspired by that beautiful family that I have, I don’t know what would ever inspire me. I’m a lucky man.”
