The country star revealed in October 2020 that she has been dating the CSI: Miami actor since January

In January 2020, Linn posted a photo of the pair enjoying a date night, writing, “Had a fantastic dinner with this Oklahoma girl. Tater Tots and Ketchup included.”

The country legend revealed on her podcast Living & Learning in October that Linn is “special” and “a very sweetheart of a guy.”

“Getting back in the dating world for me is fun and exciting,” she said.

McEntire explained that she and her new beau went on their first date in January, then kept in touch virtually amid the pandemic.

“It’s good to have a person to talk to, laugh with, get into subjects about what’s going on,” she said. “Discussions about our past, our family, funny stories, him being an actor, me being an actress. And he’s very into my music. I’m very into his career.”

“It’s just great getting to talk to somebody who I find very interesting, very funny, very smart and is interested in me, too,” she added.

The Dream

If Linn’s shirt is any indication, he’s “Livin’ the Dream!” McEntire posted a sweet photo of the pair in Montana with the caption, “Fun in MT with my Sugar Tot!!!”

Linn captioned the same photo on his Instagram, “TATER TOT,” and called McEntire an “angel on the ground (and on a cooler). “

Meet the Tots

“The Tots, Sugar and Tater, have taken up farming,” the country music icon wrote on Instagram, using their pet names and showing off their new chicken — aptly named Mr. Pecker.

Then she posted this video to show that Linn feels like the “winner, winner chicken dinner.”

Red Carpet Ready

The pair made their red carpet debut at the 2020 CMA Awards in November, which McEntire hosted (alongside Darius Rucker) in Nashville.

“We’re both excited that he’s going to be there with me,” the singer told PEOPLE of her date.
