As Reba McEntire unveils her refreshed and youthful appearance, fans are left pondering the possibility of plastic surgery. The acclaimed singer has addressed the speculation, confirming that while she has never opted for Botox injections, she has undergone facial surgery.
McEntire was a 20-year-old girl from Oklahoma when her life changed. She went from singing the National Anthem at the National Rodeo Finals to releasing Grammy-award-winning music and kickstarting a successful acting career.
At nearly 70 years old, McEntire has shown no signs of slowing down but has caused speculation about how she keeps up her youthful energy and appearance.

Reba McEntire’s Facial Changes Are a Hot Topic Among the Public
As of late, social media users have had divided opinions regarding McEntire’s appearance. While users are convinced that the singer has had plastic surgery, some of her fans have praised the new “The Voice” judge for her youthful glow.
One fan tweeted, “If I ever need plastic surgery, I’m calling Reba McEntire and asking her where she goes. This lady looks half her age.” Another wrote, “I want the number to Reba McEntire’s plastic surgeon….just FYI…..” However, other social media users revealed they did not favor McEntire’s alleged visible facial change.
“I was scanning through the TV channels last night and came upon the show “Big Sky.” Reba McEntire’s facelift is hideous!!!! Plastic Surgery Disaster!!! (Jello reference),” one Twitter user wrote.
“She discovered that she had basal cell carcinoma on her forehead and had to have surgery.”
Another shared, “Watching a new episode of “Big Sky” with guest star Reba McEntire and I gotta tell you, some of this facial plastic surgery aftermath is pretty scary. I’ve seen worse, but this is pretty bad.”
While McEntire has yet to set the record straight about whether or not she has had plastic surgery, she revealed that she has never had Botox and does not plan to. The singer said:
“I don’t do Botox. I just don’t do it. Everybody else can; it’s fine with me. I don’t. It’s botulism, so I didn’t want to put that in my body. I think plastic surgery’s great if that’s what you want to do.”
According to McEntire, she has managed to maintain her youthful glow over the years through a Japanese-inspired skincare routine and a healthy lifestyle.
The musician never sleeps with her makeup on, as she removes her makeup every night and cleanses her face. In the morning, McEntire goes in with the Japanese product Noazir, which moisturizes “very well.”
Sunscreen is also a staple in her skincare routine, as well as makeup and products that allow her face to breathe as much as possible. The singer maintains a dedicated skincare routine that includes regular facials, drinks lots of water, and uses fish oils for her eyes.

“I wear one contact. I do mono-vision, and the fish oil and EPA, help my eyes retain moisture so my contacts don’t get dry,” McEntire said. She also keeps her figure in fantastic shape with pilates, walking, and lifting weights for around an hour daily.
However, during an interview, the singer revealed that she had had facial surgery not for cosmetic purposes. Before she was scheduled to film the original video for “Does He Love You” over ten years ago, she discovered that she had basal cell carcinoma on her forehead and had to have surgery.
After the “miracle” of finding time for her plastic surgeon and dermatologist, McEntire was left with a large bandaid on her forehead post-surgery. And the singer recalled wearing her signature red hair across her face and a white turban in the music video to hide her wound. While speaking about the music video, she said:
“So, if you’ll watch it, you’ll see that Sandi Spika had draped my head with hair which usually goes the other way—hair or scarves—because I (have a) huge band-aid on my forehead. So that’s one thing I remember very distinctly.”

A Plastic Surgeon’s Take On Reba McEntire’s Facial Changes Through the Years
Earlier, Dr. Gary Motykie looked at McEntire’s features over the years and weighed in on the discussion about whether or not the singer has had plastic surgery.
Dr. Motykie started by looking at her in her 20s and 30s—pre-Botox and fillers—when she had her characteristic red hair and “cute features,” which included her upturned nose and slightly heavy upper eyes and brow.
When McEntire entered her 40s, Dr. Motykie shared that the “The Voice” cast member continued to age gracefully and experienced the “normal changes” of reaching one’s 40s. According to Dr. Motykie, the cosmetic changes in the “Does He Love You” singer’s face began when she got to her 50s.

“I’m a bit suspicious there that she might have been playing around with some fillers in her mid-face,” Dr. Motykie said about McEntire’s “mid-face fullness.”
He also noted that it was “interesting” that it was difficult to find a “true” side profile of the musician to evaluate her neck fully. After reaching her 60s, McEntire still had not aged a day since she was 30, and Dr. Motykie said:
“Nobody just doesn’t not age. So when we see people that aren’t aging at all, then it is very suspicious that something was done… I am suspicious that at some point along the way there that Reba might have had a conservative facelift.”

According to the medical professional, he believed that McEntire had undergone fat grafting and had received treatment for her previously heavy eyes and brow, which now appeared less prominent.
However, by making small changes and keeping her signature red hair, nose, and thin lips, Dr. Motykie shared that Reba McEntire’s possible plastic surgery went unnoticed. “I think it was good that she left those characteristics features because it distracted everybody from the work she may have had done,” he said.
