Dolly Parton is hitting the books once again!

The country legend, 79, will publish Star of the Show: My Life on Stage this fall via Ten Speed Press. Written with Tom Roland, the new book wraps up the singer’s autobiographical trilogy, which includes Dolly Parton, Songteller: My Life in Lyrics and Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones.

Star of the Show celebrates the Grammy winner’s decades-long stage career, beginning with her early years performing with country singer Porter Wagoner. Parton skyrocketed as a solo artist with her hit 1977 song “Here You Come Again.”

Parton looks back on some of her most iconic performances in the book, including her acting debut in the 1980 film 9 to 5 (for which she wrote the acclaimed song of the same name), her successful headline tours and her memorable 2023 NFL halftime show. Parton also reflects on sharing a stage with stars like Kenny Rogers, Linda Ronstadt and more.

“Brimming with Parton’s trademark wit and heartfelt sincerity, Star of the Show: My Life on Stage is not only an homage to one of history’s most cherished artists, but also a must-have collector’s item for — and love letter to — any fan of the one and only Dolly Parton,” reads the book’s description.

The book’s deluxe edition will feature over 350 full-color photographs, as well as an eight-page gatefold performance list. Parton will also narrate the audiobook edition, simultaneously published by Penguin Random House Audio.

“I’m so excited to finally share my new book with you, Star of the Show: My Life on Stage!” Parton wrote in her Instagram announcement on April 17. “This book is a celebration of my journey as a performer, filled with personal stories, cherished memories, and never-before-seen photos from more than seven decades on stage.”
