“His programs have defined business news and set the standard for the entire industry. We wish him a heartfelt farewell and all the best on his next chapter.”
Cavuto is one of Fox’s longest-serving anchors.
Along with primetime’s Sean Hannity, Cavuto was one of the few remaining anchors who had been with the right-wing network since its inception in 1996.
Over the years, he had developed a reputation for holding true to Fox News’ original mantra of “fair and balanced,” which regularly saw him question Republicans and conservatives just as much as liberals and Democrats.
He currently anchors Your World on weekdays from 4 to 5 p.m., Cavuto: Coast to Coast on weekdays from 12 to 1 p.m. on Fox Business and Cavuto Live on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

A network source told The Independent that Cavuto’s exit comes after he declined a new contract, which was described as generous.
Cavuto’s new deal saw the 66-year-old host receiving a cut in his salary.
Additionally, the source said, Trump has been complaining about Cavuto’s commentary for nearly a decade now.
If that were an issue, it would have been addressed long ago and on top of that, the source added, the negotiations over a new deal had been in the works since before Election Day.
Cavuto has multiple sclerosis and survived stage 4 cancer and open-heart surgery.
In 2022, he got a second bout of Covid, which put him out of work for about five weeks.
