The CBS spinoff ended on Thursday after first hitting screens in 2017.

While it may be tough for fans to say goodbye to Young Sheldon, its titular star shared a love connection he made happen along the way.

Kelly, 53, asked how Iain recently went to Reba’s farm in Tennessee on the talk show.

“Yes ma’am,” Iain replied with a big thumbs up.

The footage showed a group photo of Iain with Reba – who played Dale’s ex-wife June and Rex – who played Principal Tom Peterson.

“We had the best time, it was so wonderful,” the youngster said on his trip.

‘PARTIAL CREDIT!’

He surprisingly added, “I like to kind of claim partial credit for Miss Reba McEntire and Mr. Rex Lynn being together.

“Because they didn’t meet on our show but they sort of reconnected on our show.”

“Miss Reba has been on our show before, and obviously, Mr. Rex, and they are both so kind.”

“I like to say I am kind of like their adopted son!” as Kelly and her husband Mark cracked up.

REBA’S ROMANCE

Indeed, Reba found love again with current boyfriend, Rex, whom she has been dating since 2020.

The pair knew each other since 1991 but fell out of touch, and then reunited 20 years later.

Rex, 67, and the country star – as fate would have it – met on Young Sheldon.

She was guest-starring on an episode of Young Sheldon at the time and he invited her to dinner.

However, the singer was too tired, but was in Los Angeles the following week and they met up.

“I don’t know what it was, but timing is everything,” Reba earlier shared.

“It was just like a magnet. I had to get in there and see him.”

She said that they have been inseparable since.

‘OKAY WITH MARRIAGE’

Recently, the country singer even revealed that she is open to being wed again.

“If that’s something he feels totally strong about, that’s fine with me,” she told E! News on Sunday.

“He’s never been married before. So, if he wants to experience that, I’m OK with that.”

This comes as her second husband, Narval Blackstock, recently remarried a friend of hers.

Aside from Narvel, Reba has been married one other time.

She was married to steer wrestler, Charlie Battles, from 1976 to 1987.

Reba told the outlet that she is “truly committed to Rex” even though she “doesn’t have much faith in being bound by a piece of paper or ring,” after her second marriage dissolved.

BYE-ZINGA

Meanwhile, the May 16 finale of Young Sheldon was no small affair.

The CBS sendoff featured two back-to-back episodes, which included Sheldon’s dad George Sr.’s funeral.

This won’t be the end of Sheldon’s world, however, after CBS announced a spinoff based on Sheldon’s older brother, Georgie Cooper, and his romance with Mandy McAllister.

A show was a spin-off prequel to the CBS mega-hit The Big Bang Theory, which ran from 2007-2019.

Young Sheldon saw Iaian take on a role originated by Jim Parsons.

The finale also included a surprise flashback, which showed Jim returning as Sheldon alongside Amy Farrah Fowler, played by fired Jeopardy! host Mayim Bialik.

It’s revealed that Sheldon’s voice-overs throughout the series were actually part of a memoir he’s writing in the present day.
