Snoop Dogg Tells Reba McEntire “You Need to Retire” From ‘The Voice’
We’re five weeks into The Voice season 26. Coaches Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, Michael Bublé and Gwen Stefani have packed their teams with talent heading into next week’s Battle Rounds. Fresh off her season 25 victory with Asher HaVon, Reba is clearly the one to beat this year. And first-time coach Snoop Dogg clearly thinks getting the “Fancy” singer out of the way completely will only improve his chances.
Reba Snags Four Chair-Turn Performer on ‘The Voice’
Katie O, an 18-year-old singer-songwriter from Jacksonville, Florida, wowed The Voice coaches and viewers during Tuesday’s (Oct. 15) Blind Auditions episode. The teenager’s breezy rendition of LeeAnn Rimes’ “One Way Ticket (Because I Can)” scored a coveted four-chair turn.
Reba McEntire was last to turn, much to Gwen Stefani’s dismay. “Why is Reba here?” she later groaned watching the bonding session between the coach and artist.

Michael Bublé made a valiant attempt to lure Katie away from Reba, even adopting a fake Southern twang. Alas, the Canadian crooner was no match for the “Queen of Country,” and Katie chose Team Reba.
“Reba Magnet-tire!” Snoop Dogg exclaimed when the country songstress revealed her choice. “‘Cause she’s a magnet and you need to retire!”
Snoop Dogg Calls Reba “A Magnet for Talent”
The “Gin and Juice” rapper previously revealed his nickname for Reba during a season 26 promo for The Voice. “She’s a magnet for talent,” Snoop said.

He continued, “She don’t even have to say nothing. Like, sometimes people just come on just to be with her.”
Clearly, Snoop Dogg is taking notes from the veteran coach, who returns to The Voice for her third straight season. “She knows what to look for. She knows how to pick ’em,” he said. “If we were in school, she’s a straight-A student. I’m a D-student, but when I look at her paper, I get C’s.”
Snoop scored an early victory over Reba when Nashville folk-pop duo MisterMoon chose the West Coast hip-hop icon over the “Queen of Country.” However, the “I Can’t” singer didn’t seem terribly fazed.

“You fall in love with Snoop so much you don’t mind losing to him,” Reba said. “That’s terrible — I gotta get out of that. I gotta snap out of it.”
