John Legend’s singer Nathan Chester finished in fourth place and his other finalist Bryan Olesen came in third place; Dan + Shay’s Karen Walldrup was fifth

Asher HaVon was in shock when Carson Daly announced that he was the winner of season 25 of The Voice representing his coach Reba McEntire.
The 31-year-old singer from Selma, Alabama was stunned and dropped his head almost in disbelief when he learned that he won the entire competition.
Asher cried as confetti fell around him and his coach Reba, who inspired him along the way, joined him on stage and hugged him.
Moments before the live results were announced country star Reba, 69, told him how much she had seen him grow during the show.
‘I have seen you grow,’ the country legend said. ‘I have seen you change not your personality or your talent, but in your happiness. I know you’ve had such a great time here on The Voice, and everybody has had a wonderful time with you, especially me. Whatever happens in the next few minutes, I love you with all my heart.’

‘I love you too,’ Asher said.
Reba also told her other finalist Josh Sanders, 36, of Kannapolis, North Carolina, that she loved singing with him and that she was so proud of him, too.
John Legend, 45, told his finalist Bryan Olesen, 50, the former guitarist for the Christian rock band Newboys, that reaching the top three was already an amazing feat.
‘I just see you blossoming and being the full version of yourself and it makes me very proud,’ John said.
Bryan came in third place and Josh came in second.
Both Reba’s artists made it to the top two.
The second night of the two-night season 25 live finale opened on Tuesday with Carson Daly, 50, informing the audience that each of the five finalists was going to take the stage and sing an epic duet with their coach.
The star-studded show included performances from Thomas Rhett, Season 23 winner Gina Miles, Muni Long, Lainey Wilson, Kate Hudson, Jelly Roll and the Black Keys. Through the show, they also played clips of previous judges on the show performing live in front of the audience.

The show kicked off with a performance by five-time Grammy nominated country star Thomas Rhett singing his hit Beautiful As You. Thomas, wearing a jean shirt over a white t-shirt, started off singing in the back of the pick[up truck and then went around and high-fived fans in the audience.
Next Dan + Shay took the stage with country singer Karen Waldrup, 37, from Louisiana, the only finalist from their team. They took the stage together and sang You Look Good by Lady A. Dan played the guitar while Karen dazzled in a short gold dress and tall silver cowboy boots. A full band backed them up as the audience danced along.
The show also featured fun clips of John Legend, 45, and Chance the Rapper, 31, competing in matching outfits in a dance battle.
Grammy-winning singer Muni Long in a dazzling sequined outfit took the stage and sang her hit Made For Me backed by an orchestra. She sang on top of a stage built high above the audience.
‘TikTok has just blown that song up,’ Carson said. ‘Muni just released a remix of the single featuring Mariah Carey.’
Nebraska pop-rocker Bryan Olesen, 50, took the stage next with his coach John Legend and performed Feelin Good by Joe Bonamassa. Before taking the stage Bryan said he loved working with John, 45. They changed up the song to add a rock edge to the song and both wore black when they took the stage.
Rock legends the Black Keys performed their new single Beautiful People (Stay High) while the audience clapped along to the beat.
Josh Sanders, 36, of Kannapolis, North Carolina, took the stage with his coach Reba and sang Randy Houser’s song Back to God. He told her in rehearsals how much she had inspired him during the competition.
‘I cannot think of anyone else in this world that I’d rather sing with than the Queen of country,’ Josh said.

The took the stage under a giant cross on what resembled a church building. John played the guitar as they sang the moving song.
Country music star Lainey Wilson performed her hit single Hang Tight Honey. She spun around in her black sequined outfit and belted out her song to the the camera while the crowd cheered.
‘That was incredible,’ Carson said.
Reba got up holding a box.
‘I have heard that I have inspired you and what you have done so far. ‘ Reba said. ‘I am thrilled if I had anything to do with your career because you are blowing it up.’
Reba then told her she was inviting her to be an official member of the Grand Ole Opry. Lainey hugged her and cried.

‘Holy moly,’ Lainey said. ‘It is so crazy that you are asking me to be a member because I look up to you so much. I’m not talking just musically but the way that you carry yourself and your work ethic. You inspire me every day.’
Kate Hudson sang the title track Glorious from new debut album Glorious. Kate, wearing a white mini dress, with a long flowing white cape took the stage that was covered in flowers while she sang her ballad.
Reba’s other finalist Asher HaVon, 32, from Selma, Alabama, took the stage next and they performed On My Own by Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald. They hugged each other when they finished.
Gina Miles, Season 23 winner, the Illinois pop singer from Niall Horan’s team, took the stage and sang her new single Wicked Games. Niall taped a short intro welcoming her to the stage. The crowd cheered for her when she finished.
John’s singer Nathan Chester, 28, of Chicago, was the last contestant of the night and performed When A Man Loves A Woman with John surrounded by an orchestra. John stunned in an all white suit while Nathan wore all black.

Jelly Roll, who joined the stage as a mentor this season, hit the stage and sang his new hit single I Am Not Okay to the audience.
The show then played clips of the coaches over the years sharing their favorite moments from the show.
‘My number one thing was to witness all the incredible performances from week to week,’ Jennifer Hudson said in a video clip.
‘I love being a part of the show because of the camaraderie between the coaches,’ Reba said.
‘The Voice is amazing; it truly showcases the artistry and talent,’ Dan said.
‘I was always just rolling around with laughter,’ Niall said in a clip.
Carson asked the five finalists to take center stage and say their last words to their coaches. Before the results were revealed, Asher said that Reba’s friendship had meant the world to him.
‘Thank you for making me believe in myself,’ Asher said. ‘I promise you I will never let you down.’
Josh thanked Reba for her support.
‘More than support, you’ve been a constant in this entire thing,’ Josh said. ‘I love you and I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart.’

Karen took a minute to thank her coaches Dan + Shay.
‘Thank you for the impact you have made on my life,’ Karen said.
Nathan said from being coached by John that he could take away a spirit of confidence, gratitude and love.
‘Thank you so much,’ Nathan said.
Bryan told John what he meant to him.
‘You are a next level coach, the way you see things, hear things, articulate and the words you have spoken to me, I’ll never forget them,’ Bryan said. ‘I appreciate you.’
Carson then announced that the artist in fifth place was Karen. She walked off and hugged Dan + Shay before she left. Carson then said that Nathan came in fourth place and John hugged him.
