“She always had a smile on her face even when times were tough during her recovery process. She was a fighter until the end and is the strongest woman I know. She was the funniest and coolest mum I could ever ask for.

The same trust is also listed as the owner of a second apartment in the Financial District.

The Bans’ Warren Street home was last purchased in 2010 for $3.6 million, however Realtor.com® estimates it is now worth over $5 million.

In addition the condo property—which was built in 2006—the same trust owns another New York City home in the Financial District, which was purchased for $1.5 million in 2010.

Her death comes just weeks after the reality TV star was involved in a terrifying ski accident while vacationing in Aspen, CO, with her family.

The fashionista took to Instagram on Dec. 30 to recount the terrifying incident, while also sharing a slew of snaps of herself in the hospital.

She said: “And in a blink of an eye… life can change. Christmas Eve on a beautiful sunny day in Aspen on vacation with my family , I had a ski accident that would change my life. At the top of the mountain I caught a tip and face planted. Luckily I always wear a helmet, it didn’t seem that bad at the time and I was able to ski to the bottom.

“Erring on the side of caution, I wanted to get checked out by ski patrol for a concussion. They assessed me and I was cleared. I had a bit of a headache but thought after lunch it would be fine and I could ski again. The paramedic suggested I go to the hospital for a cat scan. This saved my life.

“I went in a taxi with Jett and within 30 minutes they told us I had a brain bleed and needed to be airlifted to the trauma hospital. Last thing I remember was being intubated and waking up after an emergency craniotomy with Jett by my side.

“There’s a long road of recovery ahead but I’m a survivor and grateful to ski patrol, the incredible team of doctors and nurses and the and support my family and friends. GOD IS GOOD. Grateful and blessed to see the new year.”

In 2023, Ban rose to fame after she made her debut on the flashy show “Bling Empire New York,” which followed only the most lavish through the Big Apple.

Cameras trailed the socialite throughout her lavish lifestyle, quickly making her a fan favorite.

The TV star is also a jewelry and clothing designer who made a name for herself in New York City when she curated a clothing collection for Barney’s.

She then shifted her sights to diamonds and became a beloved celebrity accessory designer, even having pop star Rihanna obsessed with her skills.

At the time, the A-lister branded Ban her “fairy godmother,” who helped launch her career to new heights and ultimately lead to her creating her own jewelry line.

After Sebastian shared the news of his mother’s passing, Rihanna left a comment on the post expressing her grief over the loss of her “fairy godmother,” writing: “2025 is rocking me at this point! This is too much!!! Lynn you will always be our fairy godmother! Love you forever and always! Can’t believe I’m writing this in a comment section rn! Thank you for all the joy you brought to us!”

In addition to Rihanna, Ban was also known for designing extravagant jewels for a host of other A-listers, including Beyonce and Gisele Bundchen.

Ban, who was born in Singapore, was the daughter of wealthy real estate tycooon, David Ban, who served as the director of Venus Assets, the company behind the development of the Four Seasons Place complex in Kuala Lumpur.

According to Asia One, Ban moved to New York City with her parents when she was just 4 years old, after her father landed a job in the Big Apple.

“He was a banker at the time. When the opportunity to work abroad came up, we all went. It’s a classic immigrant story. He studied in business school while he worked (at Chase Manhattan Bank),” Ban shared in a 2023 interview with the outlet.

After that, the family regularly moved to different locations around the world “every few years,” before she returned to New York City to complete her college education at the Gallatin School of Individualized Studies.
