Details on Travis Kelce’s Engagement Ring For Taylor Swift Emerge Amid Rumors He’s Proposing at the Super Bowl

Could Travis Kelce be putting a ring on it at the Super Bowl? Days after the Kansas City Chiefs tight end responded to rumors that he’s proposing to Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl LIX, details are resurfacing about the engagement ring he plans to give his pop star girlfriend.

A source told RadarOnline in December 2024 that Kelce had started shopping for rings to prepare for a “perfect” proposal. “Travis doesn’t want to fumble this one,” the insider said. “He’s been putting a lot of pressure on himself to make every detail of this proposal perfect, especially the ring.”

As for how much the ring will cost, the source claimed that Kelce is planning to spend at least $12 million on the piece of jewelry, which is a decent chunk of his $90 million net worth, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Swift, for her part, is worth $1.6 billion.

“The rule is the ring should be worth a good three months’ salary, so he’s looking to spend some $12 million on it”, the insider said. “No one’s going to be able to call him cheap.”

While the ring is important, the source claimed that Kelce is stressing more over the proposal given how likely Swift is to write about it in her futuresongs. “He wants the whole thing to be unforgettable, and that includes finding the right ring”, the source said. “He wants something that will sweep Taylor off her feet!”

The insider continued, “The actual proposal is also stressing him out. He’s not the type to do things halfway, so he’s been brainstorming the perfect location—and it all has to be a big surprise… He wants it to be worthy of making it into one of her love songs. He’s really obsessing over it!”

As for what the ring could look like, Swift sparked rumors she and Kelce were getting engaged soon in January 2025 when she wore a diamond infinity ring with gold hardware.
