In an Instagram video posted seven minutes before going live, McEnany announced she was guest-hosting for Hannity while the host was on a well-earned vacation, panning the camera to the camera crew and teleprompter in front of her.

She told her audience that she would comment on the breaking news events surrounding Colorado’s decision to remove Donald Trump from their 2024 presidential ballot.

“So that disastrous Colorado ruling from the Supreme Court has officially been appealed. It will go to the Supreme Court of the United States,” she started the video.

“I hope that it is not a 5-4 decision to say President Trump can remain on the ballot and voters are not disenfranchised – I hope it’s a 9-0 opinion. That’s what it should be.”

McEnany also discussed Michigan’s Supreme Court ruling that Donald Trump cannot be left off the ballot.

“Bit of a victory there,” she said.

Fans praised McEnany’s hosting duties after the show.

“Beauty and brains,” commented a user on Instagram.

“You’re a great reporter and inspiration. The Colorado Ruling has to be struck down,” said another.

“You should have your own show,” commented a third.

“I hope you become Press Secretary again if Trump wins the 2024 election,” chimed another.

McEnany, who joined the network in 2021, currently serves as the co-host of Outnumbered, weekdays at noon EST.

She also contributes across all of Fox News Media’s platforms as an on-air commentator.

Before her role at the White House, the on-air host worked as a political analyst for CNN, as well as a columnist at The Hill.
