Greg Gutfeld’s Insightful Account of a Family Member’s ‘Emotional Pain’ Amidst the Joy and Stress of Welcoming a New Baby
After his weeks-long absence, Greg Gutfeld has finally return to Fox News following the birth of his and wife, Elena Moussa’s first child, Mira.
The 60-year-old TV host initially left fans concerned when he had been missing from the network, and now, six weeks later, he’s back to both Gutfeld! and The Five.
However, Gutfeld’s return came with a heartbreaking announcement concerning the birth of his daughter.
During his return to The Five, his co-hosts revealed to viewers that they got him some gifts and a celebratory cake.
Gutfeld revealed he’s not changed a diaper yet, claiming he’s “never around” when Mira poops.

As he joked about being a new father, Gutfeld opened his first gift, which was a blue and black plaid neckerchief for his French Bulldog, Gus, that said: “Big brother.”
However, apparently Gus is not liking being an older brother so much.
Gutfeld was asked how Gus was doing with the arrival of Mira, to which the TV host divulged: “Oh, Gus – I gotta say, that’s the challenge of having a French Bulldog when you have a kid.
“The dog is going through severe emotional pain, no longer being the king of the Gutfeld household. So, he does these ritual pees. he peed in front of the baby room for no…”
Gutfeld then pulled out a unicorn onesie for the baby, which distracted him from continuing about Gus but it’s safe to say he was going to say that the pup has been peeing around the house for no good reason.
Weeks ago, Gutfeld’s co-host Dana Perino shared a statement from him, announcing that he and his wife of 20 years, Elena Moussa, 42, had welcomed a baby girl.
“This is going to be a great surprise for a lot of you,” Dana began, before adding: “You might have noticed that our friend Greg Gutfeld hasn’t been here for a couple of weeks, and it’s for a good reason.
“This is a statement that he sent me today. So I’m reading this as if I’m Greg,” she continued. “It is with great joy that my wife Elana and I have welcomed a baby girl into the world. Mira is healthy with a real set of lungs.”
Then, Gutfeld made a return to social media on Christmas Day, taking to his Instagram to share a handful of festive posts with his 541k followers.
The first upload was an adorable snap of Gus, chilling on the couch.
Along with it, Gutfeld penned: “As usual, he got me nothing for Christmas. Although he left something that looks like coal in the middle of the living room.”
A few hours later, Gutfeld shared a video of him and Gus taking a festive walk in the snow.
Gus looked ever so cute in a little black coat as he excitedly sniffed and ran around while Gutfeld narrated: “Oh, he’s happy. Look at him go up the hill. This is good, probably good for me too.”
However, Gutfeld captioned the post: “Upstate sick as a dog. Not this dog. He’s doing fine,” seemingly insinuating that he wasn’t feeling too well.
Despite Gutfeld’s update, fans were thrilled to see him active on his social media.
In the comment section, one fan gushed: “So hearing your voice made me teary, hearing your news about a baby brought tears, watching The Five’s Christmas exchange today brought tears, and so I say.
“Congratulations to you, Elena, & Gus on your baby, so very happy for you all. But, I know I’m not the only one who misses you terribly:) We need you to come back please.”
A second person echoed: “Congratulations! Happy healthy new year. Please come back really soon. Show is just not the same without you.”
A third added: “Merry Christmas! I hope you feel better. Enjoy that new baby! They really will grow up so fast. And get back to work. We miss you.”
