Take a Tour of Novak Djokovic’s New Miami Mansion–And All The Perks That Come With It
The tennis legend will call this mansion in the sky his “new retreat.”
Those familiar with Novak Djokovic know all about his affinity for excellence–on and off the court. As a tennis legend that’s considered one of the best to ever grace the court, clay or grass, Djokovic might just be one of sports’ most beautiful men to boot.
He’s struggled with injuries as of late, the latest at the Miami Open which caused him to retire from the tournament, but while in town, it seemed he kept himself busy house hunting.
Rather than purchase a home from another celeb or splurge on a hotel residence, Novak purchased his first stateside property in one of the city’s most luxurious amenities buildings.
Originally from Serbia, Djokovic and his wife, Jelena, call Monaco home, where they live with their 2-year old son, Stefan–but this stunning mansion in the sky might mean we’ll be seeing more of Novak in the U.S. outside of the U.S. Open.
Here, we took a tour of the pro’s newest home in Miami, its modern decor and all its amenities.
The Location

Eighty Seven Park, a landmark building south of the Surfside community in Miami Beach, will sit atop two parks with unobstructed ocean views.

The building, an eco-conscious glass structure, fits perfectly with Novak’s dedication to a clean lifestyle–the record-setting tennis player is known for his vegan, gluten-free diet and his preference for sustainable living, which might seem tough to achieve in a party city like Miami…until now.
The Living Room

When speaking to his decision to purchase property in the building, Djokovic noted his desire for peace and serenity at home. The property, set apart from the hustle of South Beach, allows for residents to escape from the city’s fast-pace.
The Balcony

While Novak has undoubtedly gorgeous views surrounding him at home in Monaco, there’s not much comparison to the panoramic ocean views he’ll get here–from the privacy of his family’s own indoor/outdoor deck.
The Bedrooms

The residence purchased by the number two player in the world (he held the number one ranking for 223 weeks prior) has 3 bedrooms, but if you wondered about the health and wellness guru’s sleeping style, take notes. Looks like Djokovic will be falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking up to a never-ending horizon, paired with sleek, minimal yet cozy decor.
The Deck

Should Novak tire of his own private balcony, he can retire to the building’s communal deck for some sunbathing–without the fear that he’ll lose the sense of calm and privacy his own condo offers.
Eat In

Djokovic’s career extends far past the tennis court. The superstar player owns multiple restaurants in addition to a charity organization and has written books on healthy eating to boot. This contemporary dining area is ideal for hosting, or simply enjoying family dinners.
The Kitchen

To maintain a strict health regimen, a kitchen worth spending time in is key. The building’s interiors were conceptualized and designed by RDAI, a firm globally recognized for their work with Hermès.
Just Outside the Kitchen…

In this building, families can choose to dine at their kitchen island, inside at the table or just outside the kitchen’s glass walls.
The Enoteca

In the event that residents are looking for a night out, they can dine at the building’s in-house enoteca…

The Gardens

While the property sits above two lush parks, Djokovic will receive a ‘key to the park’ which will provide access to the residents’ gated private park on the North side of the building being sculpted by Dutch landscape firm West 8–renowned for their famed transformation of New York’s Governor’s Island.
The Look & Feel

“I was inspired by the unmatched level of service, exclusive park access, in-house botanist, and panoramic views of both land and sea,” said Novak Djokovic. “It all provides the perfect lifestyle for me and my wife Jelena.”
The Design Aesthetic

“I simply love the design of this building,” said Novak. “This is an unexpected location in a neighborhood that’s rapidly growing and that’s what attracted me to buy here. It will be my new retreat.”
The Pool

While the luxury building sits on the water, a pool (and a super chic one at that) is on the top of the lists of most Miami residents. This condominium is no different–and it’s sleek yet over-the-top pool deck is to die for.
The Reflecting Pool

For calm and serenity, residents can choose to visit the reflecting pool instead.
Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

In case you were wondering what one of the pro-athlete’s 3.5 bathrooms looks like. Epsom salt soak, anyone?
